i totally agreed there should be single form as student data is same/common for all school -why to waste so much of paper and time of all parents as they are supposed to submit/visit school many times. Its wastage of man hours and resoursec.

there should be choice/option for parents preferability like DDA draw with school fee mentioned against the preferred school like choice of preferances, which could be decided on the draw of lots cetrally in presence of parents/school and DOE including for EWS.

all the data should be maintained by DOE how much seat is vacant in General and EWS.

As many of school are not cooperating with EWS parents and issuing them form as they raised unreasonable demands like attested certificare etc to minimise EWS quotas and keep the seat vacant.

problem is that many of EWS parents are illiterate and easily turned away by hawkish attitude of school and no boby is there to force school to adhere to norms.

why the school is asking for cash (black money)when government is discouraging cash-is DOE is not on the same page as governemt policy.Either of two has failed to protect the harassment of common parents and its all happening in capital of India, forget about the remote areas.

Wish to add here, to have transparency, the payment being collected by school management/authorities on account of fee for various account heads (cash / cheque) should be made online available similar to that of DoE portal asking schools to submit their vacancy details with deadline of maximum one week giving time to school management to upload the data/information on DoE web portal...

Second, similar to DOL procedure set by DoE, same method should be implemented for collecting/accepting fees which should be videographed in presence of DoE invigilator and an officer level employee from school management not below the rank of Administrator/Manager...

Third, as urged earlier, the whole admission procedure should be ONLINE FOR ALL THE SCHOOLS so that parents are not bound/forced to visit to school to first take admission form and later again stand in long ques to submit form. This will not only help parents to save time & money but also will save the double exercise of school management for shortlisting purpose

A renowned school NIRMAL BHARTIA who claims to be unlike other school and being very honest has refused to follow any refund policy once u go for management seat. And when only asked for their take on this they straight away cancelled my ward's admission.

this shows the hands is glove of DOE as well as private schools, that's why no government agencies look into this critical matter, when parents are highly tensed.  What is the fate, god knows?

i also agree with Pooja's view

but last yr no management quota..no corruption..this yr worst...

Mr Sumit, ain't HRD or DOE not aware about this ?

We parents are equally responsible for all this drama.. why the parent mentioned in this newspaper did not report to police?  We all are so desperate and selfish to get admission in only top 3 schools, which is next to impossible.

And these bloody touts are using our sentiments to get rich easily, Its shame on the society we are living. I don't know if the authorities are aware of it or not. And if they are not; what the hell they are doing. Can't they monitor the process.

I request all the parents not to fall for the prey.

we all are victims of this corrupted curriculum of schools' management, DoE and Court.
the schools should have common criteria to follow so that no one is left without admission.
in this scenario, one gets selected in more than 5 schools and the other got selection in none...
pity on parents like us...

there is no one listening.....it is not possible that all this corruption is happening under the nose of the DOE and they dont know. they dont WANT to know. they are all hand in glove. the private schools the doe the ministry and the judiciary. one honourable judge (????? doing all non honourable things)...and his great judgement has let loose these demons for us to deal with..... what are we????....bystanders. watch and get trampled in this stampede of money making

Sorry, if this hurts anyone's sentiments here, but the admission process is becoming a back-breaking exercise, full of anxiety and unnecessary pressure. Some of the things are downright ridiculous, and should be corrected ASAP:

a) Scrap management quota, as it provides opportunities for back-door entries and dubious admissions. It seems that the management quota has been created as a buffer for schools that have been forced to provide highly discounted seats to the EWS category.

b) Scrap EWS quota as well, because its the responsibility of the state to ensure that RTE is implemented effectively - Instead of eating up seats for general candidates, who come from a good background - both financially and education-wise, the state should improve the pathetic condition of government schools so that they provide good education. The quota should not be forced down the throat of private schools and general category students in the name of equal opportunities/social justice. Just to elaborate - I have been to a couple of lottery draws, and have already seen that there's no interaction between the general category and the EWS applicants - Moreover, won't their children be caught in an inferiority complex when they study along with affluent children who have access to all facilities?? Won't the purpose of social justice be lost in that case??

c) Admissions should be given to children whose parents have stayed and worked in Delhi/NCR for at least 15 years/beyond. Of course, this condition will not need to be applied on government/defense officers who have a transferable assignment - but, for others, this should be MANDATORY. The population boom in this city has been fueled by the influx of migrants from all over the country, who also claim domiciles in their home states when they apply there (for college etc). But, where does an established Delhi-ite go?? We have been paying our taxes, and living here since many many years, and yet don't get any benefit of the same.

As I said, these are just my personal views as a parent who has been facing a lot of hardship and stress with this admission process.

likewise do anyone know abt agents/brokers who give u job guarantee in government schools...????
