correct age for nursery start

Hi,

My son got admission in Nursery school in Noida. He will be 3+ in jan 2017 and matching school criteria. He is going to pre nursery. My friends are suggesting that he is so small for nursery and we are putting extra pressure on him. We should wait for one more year to put him in nursery.

Just wanted to know are we putting extra pressure over kid/ Some of his class mates are also of same age group and some are 1 year older.

Kindly suggest.

All delhi schools takes 3 yrs old on 31 mar 2017 in nursery. So it is correct age.

thanks...I think there will be pressure on younger kids when they sit with kids having age 4yrs....what do you say?

Kids having 4yrs will be able to grasp thing easily...i am little worried as hope i am not putting my son in pressure.

Parents play a crucial and important role in the overall development of children. Their inner personality and character of a child should be developed. Children start learning things from parents only. Everything starts from home and parents influence will be very high in case of overall development of children. A parent’s abilities, aspirations, habits, behavior etc. are some of the factors which contribute to success or failure of child.Problems like malnutrition and lack of essential micro-nutrients will have a long term effect on child’s physical as well as mental development. So avoid junk foods. The grasping abilities differ from child to child and it is parents and teachers collective responsibility to educate children. Staring from the school age itself, parents should help and have to take good care about their child’s study progress. This will surely help children in achieving success in their future life.

Children are immature. Some children are action oriented where as some children are dreamers and some are quick learners. If parents recognize their talent and balanced their activities then they will surely develop in all aspects and will gain self-confidence, self-esteem and initiative nature at the early stages of the life itself. Remember to praise children and be friendly with them; this will surely make them better human beings in future.

Aside from learning academics, a child will also learn other important life skills such as teamwork, good manners, unity, sharing, and responsibility. What we need today more than anything else is moral leadership founded on courage, intellectual integrity and a sense of values. Since education is a powerful instrument of social change and human progress, it is also a powerful tool to cultivate values in an individual. Therefore all the educational institutes have greater responsibility to impart learning and cultivation of values through education.School curriculum should nurture children in development to a whole person that includes the intellectual, emotional, physical, social, aesthetic and spiritual.
