I want to know the same thing.

Management quota ( also known as discretionary quota) as the name implies is the quota that is filled up by the management committee of the school ( Owners/ founders / those who run the school) that comprises of about 20% of the total seats available for admission. These seats are given to those who are selected by this committee ( usually given to the near and dear ones / sometimes for monetary / non monetary gains)

Management quota is a block of seats which the school reserves as a right to fill up at their own discretion and it may not be in consonance with the parameters laid down. However the criteria of age and having the minimum qualudication (where applicable) is adhered to. You may contact school directly for the same. I dont want to emphasize but these seats usually come for a price
Do we need to contact school directly or there are some agents??
And as far as i understand there must b high price for these seats??

Contact the School desk/reception OR write a mail .

Thanks.. should we wait for result or can approach before that.

It would be prudent to wait for the results. However in some cases where a particular school has been chosen and the chances of getting in through the regular mode is negligible(meaning that the points scored are far too less), then you may contact the school directly even before the results are out.

Any idea how much money one has to shell out for a seat in reputed school under management quota?

An indicative figure is also fine

In the order of thousands or lakhs?

We are specially seeking admission in Mothers intl.
I have witnessed cases paying 50K to 500K. Depends on the school

Best schools / A+ schools as per my knowledge do not ask for money. They have to oblige top bureaucrats / politicians / senior officers . It is only in the A / B / C category schools that money can buy nursery seats.

Prakashji,

If any one approach thru these burecrats/politicians etc. also gets free management seat? or they have to pay to these people?

Ajai ji ,

Best is to contact someone who is in the management committee/principal of the school.
