Name on the Birth Certificate

Is it mandatory to furnish a Birth Certificate with the name on it?

Yes as most of the schools ask for it.

Hi Sakshi,

I have submitted almost all the forms and none of the schools have pointed this out yet except RS Modern who asked me to write the name on the birth certificate. So, that got me thinking.

I'll apply for a new one now but I hope this isn't held against by the schools where I have already applied.

Give affidavit regarding the same wherever you have applied as this is the safest method.

Rest some schools might not object also.

Final call is yours .

No at the time you need to give name of child printed on B.C( At the time of document verification)

What i meant is in all the schools where ever you have applied so far.( Specially in those who have mentioned in admission notification that name on child should be printed on B.C)

Sorry Sakshi,

I'm really worried hence clarifying again. For the schools where I have already submitted the B.C. without name copy, there is no way I can re-submit the forms. Moreover, the schools which require online only registration can also not be re-submitted. Do you think this would be a reason for schools to reject the application? I can definitely provide the B.C. with name during document verification, if shortlisted. Appreciate your patience.

No need to panic, if any school has categorically mentioned that name of child should be printed on B.C in admission notification then just email them with reference no of application that you would be providing them B.C with name of child printed at the time of Document Verification.
