Information for Nursery Admission 2015-16

Eligibility: Age 3+ on March 31, 2015.

(Date of birth should be between 1^st April 2011 and 31^st March 2012

Issue of Nursery Admission forms: Forms, other than EWS-Disadvantaged groups, can be downloaded from our website from 02^nd January to 15^th January 2015.

Submission of Admission forms : Filled in forms should be submitted from 05^th January to 15^th January 2015 & the timings will be 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at St. Gregorios School, Sector-11, Dwarka, along with Registration fee of Rs.25/- (application cost)

Original certificate should not be attached.

EWS - Disadvantaged Group Category

EWS-Disadvantaged group category forms are available at the school office & also can be downloaded from the Directorate website. Forms duly filled to be submitted in the school from 05^th January to 15^th January 2015

Parents who are applying under EWS quota should submit certificate issued by the SDM for income proof at the time of submission. Afterwards SDM certificates will not be accepted.

ENTRY-LEVEL ADMISSIONS 2015-16

SEATS AVAILABILITY

Total no. of seats: 160

1) Management Quota = 32 (20%)

2) Staff Quota = 08 (5%)

3) EWS- Disadvantage Group = 32 (20%)

4) Open Seats available = 88 (55%)

SELECTION CRITERIA

Following parameters will be taken into consideration for selecting the applicants for Nursery Admission for the year 2015-16. Number of open category seats available are 88.

Own Community - 25 points
Neighbourhood Criteria

a) Distance from (0-8 km) - 40 points

b) Distance from (above 8 km) - 30 points

(Distance will be calculated from B2 Janakpuri)

Sibling studying in school - 15 ”
Parent Alumni of school - 10 ”
Single Parent/ Girl Child - 05 ”
Transfer Cases - 05 ”

Selection of Candidates

1) Those children who have got maximum No. of points will be selected and given admission.

2) When the points are equal, selection is through draw of lots and the date will be informed.

1. Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation / Tehsil / Gram Panchayat.
2. Proof of Residence – Only Electricity / Water / Telephone Bill / Voter's I- Card.

4. In the case of Christian, Baptism certificate.
5. Orthodox Christian students shall submit Parish/ Vicar ' Certificate.

Imp. Note: 1) Those parents who are applying under different categories will be
considered admission in that category only, but not in any other category (i.e if parent
applies under Staff quota will not be considered under Open seat.
2) Incomplete application forms will be rejected.

Dear Lathaa mam. Please share your valuable feedback for St. Gregorios school (for overall development).It's very near to my home. The thing is I don't heared much about the school in discussion also so not clear whether it would be good to enroll my kid there or not. I am also trying for ITL. Would ITL be better than St Gregorios in overall development.

Sakshi, In the website of 'The Sriram School' there is another link on the right by the name 'PV admission 2015-16'. When you click on that, you see names of children already shortlisted for Pravesh Vatika 2015-16 under general & management quota. The forms for these were available as early as Sep 2014. What is this and how is this different from the online registration that they have now opened for Pravesh Vatika 2015-16?

Whew Thanks! I was having a series of mini-strokes. But this is a serious issue, the page doesn't give that detail anywhere that it's for Gurgaon. Very strange!
