Verification Process

Dates/Appointment schedule for verification of Claims/Admission notice list will be provided ONLY ON THE VIDYALAYA'S WEBSITE AND THE NOTICE BOARD within the Vidyalaya premises. Please note that NO OTHER communication either in the form of a letter or e-mail or SMS or Telephonic Call will be used for intimation to any individual.

List of documents to be submitted at the time of verification.

For Neighbourhood Criteria: Both parents will be required to submit at least one document each from the following two groups (This does not apply to single parents who have applied in the category ‘Inclusive Education’):
- Group I: Passport/Voter ID (one from this group).
- Group II: Currently active recent utility bill for three months or a current Bank Statement giving address ( one document from this group).
In case of Alumnus, Board Mark sheet of class X/XII and proof of having studied in the Vidyalaya for minimum four years is required.
Proof in support of claim made for Gujarati and/or Sibling category.
Proof/supporting documents for any other claim(s) made in the Application Form. Kindly bring the original documents for verification and a photocopy of each document duly self attested for submission.
Documents will be verified only at the time of interaction. For this, a specific date and time is being given to each applicant as below and no documents will be allowed to be supplemented or accepted by the Office/Staff after the appointed date and time. Kindly ensure that you carry all the relevant documents for the interaction as this is the only time you will have to present your documents to the Vidyalaya.
All claims including claims for Gujarati category and residence address are subject to independent verification.
Special Note: For Applicants in the category 'Inclusive Education' - Subject to availability of a vacancy, a second list for inviting applicants for verification in this category would be displayed on the Vidyalaya's website (www.spvdelhi.org) on the 14^th of Feb, 2017.
You would be required to deposit your mobile phones at school gate before proceeding for verification.

SPV list does not include my ward name. What criteria they have applied for this?

My ward's name is also not included. Though the distance of this school from our residence is 0.9km.

They denied on the call to provide any information about basis of this list and this is the final list for verification purposes.

They were supposed to put a list of all applicants with points given to each applicant, which they have simply not done. Why?

Seeing the many parent agony I cannot help thinking that

Govt is right in fighting to make the process transparent.

People residing near to SPV also didn't get admission. This is kind of ridiculous to even think of. They want to make money on transport also as they cannot increase fees.

i thought it was the only school where my son got a good score, if his name is not in this list, i have no hopes now :(
