Registration for Admission to Pre-School (Class Nursery) Academic Session: 2018-19

St. Thomas’ School, Dwarka opens registration for class NURSERY from 27th Dec, 2017 to 17th Jan, 2018 for academic session 2018- 19.

The forms for Open Seats / General Category will be available Online Only on our website.

ONLINE FORM SUBMISSION PROCEDURE FOR FILING ONLINE FORM:  Read the General Information carefully and click < I Agree > at the bottom of page and proceed

.  Fill in the details of the applicant completely and click and proceed to pay.  Payment gateway - The online payment of Rs. 25 and the convenience fee inclusive of statutory taxes towards 'on-line registration' form shall be done through Net Banking / Credit Card/Debit Card.  Once submitting the registration form successfully, you will receive an auto-generated Acknowledgement Receipt with a reference number for further correspondence. The Acknowledgement Receipt will also generate USER ID and a PASSWORD. Please make sure Pop-up blocker is Turn Off, to get the acknowledgement receipt.  Take two print outs of the filled online form.  You will be required to bring a print out of the filled form along with attested photocopies and the original documents on the day of the verification only.

* Applicants are requested to check the school website regularly for all the information and notification related to admission.

3) ADMISSION CRITERIA (FOR GENERAL CATEGORY ONLY)

Please Note: 1. In case of FIRST BORN criteria for TWIN CHILD, both the twins shall be given 10 points. Parent needs to confirm the registration number of both children (Twins) through an e-mail at admission@stthomasdwarka.com with Subject Title as “Twin Child Registration Number”.

2. Applicant applying under parameter of Sibling (studying in STS, Dwarka), has to fill in the details of child already studying in school. In case of non-submission of sibling details, applicant will lose the points allotted under sibling parameter for which school will not be responsible.

4) DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED ON THE DAY OF VERIFICATION ONLY (GENERAL CATEGORY) The short listed applicants will be called for the verification of documents and the date and time slot for verification of documents will be declared through a separate notification on the website. Applicant needs to bring copy of Online registration form along with original as well as attested photocopy of the supporting documents.

Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parents.

5. (For Parents living in Rental Accommodation) - Copy of rent agreement coupled with utility bill / bank passbook of the same address.

5. Sibling: Identity card/Fee receipt of sibling studying in STS, Dwarka.

For First Born: Affidavit with regard to first born child

. 6. School Bus Requisition form will be filled at the time of document verification for the applicants who will be availing the school bus from designated bus stops

6) SELECTION CRITERIA  The selection of the applicant will be according to the points system as per the stated admission parameters mentioned in the pre-page.  For all the applicants, points will be calculated and the first list will be prepared for the first 120 applicants (General Category), followed by the waiting list of 120 applicants.  Waiting list will be converted into the second list – depending on the availability of seats.

 CRITERIA FOR TWINS: In case of selection by draw of lots of either of the child, the second/twin child will also be considered for the admission.  The admission of the applicant will be considered as final based on the verification of the original documents.

NOTIFICATION FOR DOCUMENT VERIFICATION
The first phase of screening for admission in Nursery Class is based on the information submitted by the applicant
in the Online Registration form.
The notification for verification of documents on 2
nd Feb, 3
rd Feb & 5th Feb, 2018 under
General Category, is for applicants who have scored 70 points and above.
(* Applicants scoring less than 70 points have to wait till any further notification displayed on website.)
 All the applicants called for verification of documents are requested to bring copy of
Online registration form along with original as well as attested photocopy of the supporting
documents.
 Applicants are also requested to ensure that Photostat copies of documents are legible and duly attested (Self/
Gazetted).
 Draw of Lots (General Category) - In case of tie for a particular seat, lottery will be conducted to decide
the seat for admission, to fill the seats under General Category, for the final list. The draw of lots will be
conducted on 12th Feb, 2017. (Latest updates will be displayed on website a day before).
Applicants are requested to report at the school as per the schedule date and timing
mentioned in the link (ONLY). Slot change is restricted.

How is Cambridge Foundation School ?

Also I want to clear confusion regarding Salwan Schools. How many salwan there near patel nagar ?

I can see

Salwan(rajender nagar),

GD salwan(rajender nagar),

Salwan montessari (Rajender Nagar),

Salwan(Naraina). 

Are they all same ? Also which of them are open to nursery admissions

Sakshi, Plz clear my confusion, I am getting little confused

What is the issue of upper age limit and lower age limit ?

as per my knowledge, last year also, it was same like, for nursery 3+, for KG 4+

this year also its same i think, that for nursery between 3-4 and for KG between 4-5,

but i have just read in facebook post of this admissionsnursery.com blog, that schools have set uper age limit, and they r not listening to the orders of DOE,

but if like last and this year, if a child above 4 year cannot get into nursery, then it automatically sets upeer age limit.

Plz clear my confusion sakshi

By feeder you mean if we apply in salwan(naraina)....child will automatically be transferred to salwan Montessori(rajender nagar) after a particular class ?

Also, can we apply in both salwan Montessori(Rajender nagar) & Salwan(Naraina) ?

Same ques for Faith academy(morning) & faith academy(Evening). Do we need to apply separately or do we have restriction to apply in only 1(morning/evening) of them ?

Also, this is one of the most thankless job. I really appreciate you taking out time to answer all our queries.
