Dear Lathaa, I am surprised to see that under the allocation points column, my kid has been awarded ZERO Points even when I reside within the distance of 1-3 kms. Please advise what shall I do

Dear Latha, it is really sad to see how the schools are not maintaining transparency. I shot an email to the school on discovering that they did not allocate "neighborhood" points to my kid, but sadly they did not revert back. And now this comes as a shocker that they have shortlisted the candidates and my kid's name isnt there even when we live in the close vicinity of 1-3 kms distance from school. Please advise what to do. Can DOE take some action against such schools or is it just a spectator who is enjoying the show?

Emails don't work with them, checkout the list, jot down all the Registration nos. Of the candidates who you notice has received the neighborhood points which you didn't. 

Visit school personally and be persistent. If you really want your kid to be in this school, then I say, man you have to fight for it. Don't be a vicitim of some stupid mistake done by a data entry operator.

Important :

1. You are advised to fill in Online form.
2. The online registration forms will be available at the school website from Wednesday, 27thDecember 2017 to Wednesday, 17thJanuary 2018.The last date for receiving all forms is Wednesday, 17thJanuary 2018.
3. Please read this page completely and understand it before filling the Registration Form.
4. Submit the details online and pay Registration Fee of Rs. 25/- online. You will receive an acknowledgement mail having registration number and online payment details.
5. Completed Registration Form needs to be submitted online latest by Wednesday, 17th   January 2018.
6. Total number of seats available is 153. (General Category-115 and EWS/DG Category -38)
7. Children whose birth date falls between 1st April 2014 and 31st March 2015 are eligible for registration for the academic session 2018-2019.
8. This registration will be treated as provisional until you submit the duly completed scanned documents online before due date.
9. The admission process has been designed to provide equal opportunity to all and to maintain transparency in the admission process.documents along with self-attested photocopies as supporting evidence of the filed-in data on the day of verification.
10. Those who will be selected after the draw of lots will be called for the verification of the submitted data. Please bring original documents along with self-attested photocopies as supporting evidence of the filed-in data on the day of verification.
11. The Criteria for admission for open seats is as per DOE norms for private unaided recognized schools as follows:
