St. Columba’s School, New Delhi, is a Private, Minority (Christian - Catholic), Non-Aided Educational Institution run by the Congregation of Christian Brothers in India.

The school is a KG to Class 12 Educational Institution. The school is affiliated to the CBSE Examination Board.

Admissions are made to following classes during the academic year:-

• KG FOR 2018 (Boys born between 1^st April 2013 and 31^st March 2014)
• Classes 1 to 9 [ADMISSION DEPENDS ON VACANCIES]
• Class XI [ADMISSION DEPENDS ON VACANCIES]

Application Forms

All application forms are to be filled and submitted online. A hard copy of the on-line application form is to be submitted to the school, with relevant documents as per the schedule given. Late submission of application forms will not be entertained. Original documents must be shown at the time of verification or the forms will not be accepted.

Admission Forms

Admission forms will be submitted by candidates selected for admission, with the required receipt of fees paid and all necessary documents by the date and time specified. Admission forms submitted thereafter for whatever reason shall not be entertained.

The selection for admission of students will be cancelled if:-

• Admission forms are submitted with incomplete information and documents and non-payment of fees.
• Complete Admission forms with process is not completed by the date and time specified.

Selection List / Waiting List

There shall be a Selection List and a Waiting list of candidates selected for KG admission.

The Department of Education, Government of Delhi, does generally not allow admissions to any class beyond the 31^st July of the year.

General

The Principal’s decision in matters of admission is final. No person is authorised to seek admission on behalf of a child of whom he / she is not the legal guardian. Parents and Guardians are not to trust or believe in any person from the school or outside who claims to have influence on the selection of students for admission.

The School wants ALL 5 address proofs to be submitted, while the area/address points criteria has been done away with. They are sending people back if ALL are not available???

This is against DOE guidelines also Minority Schools have got exemption from HC to frame their own guidelines. 

But if you wish you can complaint to DOE.

Total Seats available for admission to Pre-School (Foundation) - 90

1. 25% (22 seats) - Economically Weaker Section & Disadvantaged Group as defined under the Right to Education Act, 2009

How Vasant Valley has put the criteria of Proven Track Record of Parents. HC has ordered to remove this point from criteria list as per point no 31 in their order dated 06-01-2016.

These were allowed by HC

Out of 62 only 11 were allowed 51 were not see DOE notification
