I also agree with Mr Piyush that FASN seems to be more hyped. Their 12th average is just 79%. May be more favorable by parents due to value for money.

yes, minorities schools like FASN, FASV & SFS are in some sense value for money. No tension of high fees for next 14 years !!

At the same time, in bigger schools like Amity/DPS/Apeejay etc, the overall growth is better w.r.t. both Academics and Personality development. Moreover, the competition is also higher and hence the overall results. 12th Avg for DPS and Amity was 87 & 85 % Vs 79 for FASN.

Parents, please decide your kids school bases on many factors - of course money is one of the biggest factors in today's time where commercialization is happening in education. So if one can afford high fee and provide a controlled/disciplined environment at home, then Traditional schools are better (bases on results etc)

Go for FASN and you can try for elder kid later on in FASN as well.

Go for FASN. Many of my colleagues want to move their kids from DPSI and other schools to FASN, but they are finding it very very hard to do so. In future if you do not like FASN, you can easily switch to DPSI, due to sibling advantage. Since fee is less, this experiment won't be costly also.

@Piyush pls confirm regarding vacancy in senior classes , how easy it is as your elder sibling is Fas

Also suggest distance foe 14 yrs from home ,how imp it is .

Its not easy at all to shift to FASN before class 11. If one wants to shift in class 11, that is slightly easier as a lot of students look to switch to Delhi schools in class 11. They have entrance exams for class 11.
In terms of distance, it should not be more than 7/8 km for small kids. Bus route should be carefully understood before admission as any time duration more than 45 minutes one way is too much for small kids. Shorter the distance, better it is.

Hi Rajesh! Get your younger one in FASN and then, whenever you want, shift your older one to FASN making it a sibling case. Should not be much of a trouble that way too I suppose.

A sibling is a sibling. Can be older or younger.

Hi Sakshi,

We are keen on admitting our daughter to Shiv Nadar school Noida but she is falling short by 2 days as per their age criteria.

When contacted their admission cell we have been told that she may be considered only if there are any vacancies available after the final lottery.

Could you please share if there are any high chances of this possibility else staying in Gretaer Noida which other new age school should we consider.

No they have limited vacancy i think 60 for general cat as per last year ( 30 boys + 30 Girls)

They might not relax the age

Better keep trying in New Age schools also along with SN
