Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Got call from sommerville international today..

Sakshi , SKM, please advise on the following:

DPS Expressway, APJ, Amity International

pls consider following pts while rating
1- OVERALL DEVELOPEMENT
2- Not too much pressure on kids
3- Teaching methodology
4- Overall criteria
5-MAIN on ur experience basis

Nidhi, here is my assessment on Apeejay. I called up a friend, whose kids are studying there, to ask if he recommends it. He said no, if I want overall development.

Back in 90's and early 2000's it was a top notch school, competing with the good schools in Delhi, not just NCR.

However, now my friend has advised against it, so I have not even registered.

That, was my take, based on feedback of parents I know personally.

As for DPS Expressway, somebody (whose kid studies there) has already given a good feedback in a different discussion within this forum. Also if we compare the fee, Apeejay charges Rs.6500 pm (I saw it on the window where they were selling the forms) so there is not much of a difference between DPS Expressway and Apeejay.

I have read that DPS uses the new age teaching methodology so it should be good.

Apeejay is not using the technology then how its going to excel our child in technology. All the schools are using their website for admission process (e.g download form, submission form and results display) however Apeejay school is still using old methodology of handling all admission activities using manual work.

We have made 4 visits (form collection, form submission, 1st round of interview, results) of the school however it could have been reduced to only one visit. This is wastage of countries resources and money.

They need to learn from other schools.

Arti.. we have same feeling about the school

The school is so inconsiderate that it has put up result in random order. No sorting either alphabetically or serial no. wise.

I am so confused now. So you mean that DPS expressway is better than Apeejay? Then why's there so much hype for Apeejay and not for DPS.. is it jus due to the brand name?

I was myself very keen on Apeejay, being an alumnus, because it used to be an awesome school. It started in 1981 or 82 and did very well till mid 2000's. The hype is based on that legacy only. As for DPS expressway, it is new and still has to make a name for itself.

DPS is very big if brand is concerned than apj

But if you are looking with past track record than APJ is better

If looking for future

the pls see parents feedback whose one child is in dps sec 30 n other in dps sec 132

DPS sec 30 > APJ (All parents will vouch)

Hi Sakshi...how would you rate shreeram, shiv nadar and amity in noida.. If you had to make a choice among the three schools?

AMITY is different focus on academics
