Agree with you Ravi. The value for money comes into play here rather than pure credentials.

Surprised to see this comment from you Ankit as you have advised a lot of people to go for FAS.

@Ravi Kashhap

Pls see facilities being provided  by fas as confirmed by parents (i mean not academics only) Low fees not not mean bad education .( or value for money)

In last 6-7 yrs not even a  single compliant against FAS .

@ Ravi how many parents ..what are credentials of principal in play school you are talking about ..we have feedback of around 30 k parents out of Noida and Ghaziabad in last 6-7  years

Don''t misled parents with  " The hype is more in this group" about FAS ?

You can dig every year comment regarding fas

Yes very few parents mentioned only one negative ( surrounding area)

If I add all the fees that I've paid ever in my lifetime for my education, it will be less that the money of my daughter's nursery year. I feel a lot of schools are overcharging, or mis-managing their money. And so more fees cannot equate to a better school. At the end of the day, we need good well-paid and caring teachers first.

 Hello,

How do you rate KPS, Noida compared to FAS, Noida.

Should i prefer FAS over KPS ? As kps is 4 km from my place where as FAS is 10 km from my place.

 please suggest.

Go for KPS if you want a school with a holistic approach to child's development else if your focus is on academics, FAS Noida is good for you

Hi,

I am planning to put my daughter in Ramagya School, Noida. I have visited the school and really liked the overall feel, facilities and infrastructure. Please provide your feedback for this school.

Kshitij,

I would personally advice you against Ramagya. I stay very near to the school and have had lot of opportunity to interact with parents and most of them do not seem to be very happy with the school.

We had interaction at Somerville yesterday(Monday) from 9-10 AM for my son. It was the first ever nursery admission interaction for us. Today morning my husband received a call from the school saying my son is admitted to Nursery and we have to go collect admission form from school today before 2 PM. He was driving and so he didn't ask anything about the fee or last date.

Is there anyone who has already paid the fees and got admission confirmation? How much will the initial fees be? Is anyone aware of any last date for form submission?

For parents waiting for Somerville courier:

1. My son will be 4 years 3 months by April 2016. He was not eligible for Nursery admission in 90% of the schools in Noida. We were quite worried about that at first especially when Somerville changed the age criteria. But looks like they are not too strict about upper age limit.

2. We stay in Sector 62, Noida.

3. Our registration no was 400+. I don't really remember the exact number.

4. We got the courier late evening on Sunday, that too from our apartments security guard. They gave it when they saw us walking inside the society. We would have missed the interaction if I hadn't met the security guard that evening. My point is, make sure you tell your security guard to inform you immediately in case of a courier.

Hope that is helpful.

Congrats Anupama !! :)  Thanks for detailed inputs!

Anupama,

Congratulation..

Total fees payable for Somerville is 49500 in name of school and 20,000 in name of Lott Carey Baptist Mission.

Break up of 49,500 : Rs. 19,500 for qtrly fees+ 15,000 Annual fees+ 10,000 Development fees+5,000 Administrative fees.

Hope it helps

In our case they have given one day to submit the Somerville form.
