CAN ONE OF THESE DOCUMENTS SERVE THE PURPOSE OF PROOF OF RESIDENCE OR ALL DOCUMENTS ARE MANDATORY?

Regarding documents valid as proof of address. Some of indicative documents which can be considered as proof of residence of parents / child.

i) Ration card issued in the name of parents (Mother/Father having name of child). ii

) Domicile certificate of,child or of his/her parents.

iii)Voter I-Card (EPIC) of anyofthe parents.

iv) Electricitybill/MTNL telephone bill/Water bill/Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.

v) Aadhaar cardlUID card issued in the name of any of the parents

Yes. But few schools like DPS ask for 2 proofs.

Any one is enough. But few schools may ask for 2 proofs too. School specific.

My daughter will turned to 4+ in February 2016.  Please suggest me the schools for getting admission in KG (pre-primary) in Dwarka, New Delhi.  Thanks in advance.

Hi Sakshi,

Kindly answer the below queries--

1. what method is to be used for distance calculation - should we use google maps? and is aerial (straightline) distance considered or driving distance considered.

2.Secondly many schools have just mentioned points for neighborhood - but they have not mentioned upto how many kms from school do they count as neighborhood. what is the km range to be considered in this case?

3. i am residing in jamia nagar,okhla. Very few good schools fall in <  8km category. I do not have much options here. The risk is very high of getting admission on applying in these few schools. Is there no other criteria supporting parents liks us who are living in an area where there are no/very few good schools in the immediate neighborhood. This distance criteria in my case is actually limiting the kind of quality education that I as a parent want to give to my child.
