What if your child doesn't get selected in desired schools?
Hi All,
As we all parents wish to get the best possible education for our children, not of all us can get our children to top schools. As the D-day is coming nearer, I wish to know opinion of all the parents and moderators on the below points:
1) What if your child doesn't get selected to top schools or schools where you desired? Will you compromise and get your child admitted to some 'mediocre' schools?
2) What if your child doesn't get selected to ANY Schools you have applied? What should be the strategy adopted in this case?

I agree with you, you should wait for second list to be out, After that you can give application in near by South delhi schools.Seeing previous years trends you might get admission in decent school .

Dear Madam,
I am an alumnus of Ambience Public School (Earlier known as Hillgrove Pub School) and surprisingly my daughter's name is not there in the list :)
I got admission in only two schools i.e. Guru Harkrishan Kalka ji B Block and Guru Harkrishan Hemkunt Colony. I have been waitlisted in Manav Bharti (more than 100 in rank).
It will be kind of you if you can advice options for me. I Live in Kalkaji L Block.
I Applied in the following schools

@UFP: RD is not that bad school....!! Have you visited them ?
I know they are calling almost all who applied...but if you have no other options(not in even waiting)...then atleast block a seat there..!!
Another options is you can go for composite schools nearby your area...!!

Ufp, check the fee refund policy of school and block a seat. According to DOE's fee refund policy of last year, you can apply for refund within one month. You will get one month time to try in other schools.
