So ..Maybe I am naive and stupid ..but is it too much to expect parents to fight their individual battle for their kids?? I am appalled and saddened by the arm chair activism ( facebook activism to be precise) , of a lot of parents ... so they air their grievances ( whih incidentally is more or less the same across ) on fb and other forums ...but when a meeting / dharna etc is organised, just a handful turn up . Haven't we ever taken leave from work ever ? Havent we taken out... time on weekends to do tiresome, mundane jobs ? FRANKLY, at this point in time, to me NOTHING - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is more important than securing a seat in a decent school for my child . If 20-30 of us are on the computer , vchat, phone ,meeting , dharna etc trying to coodrinate stuff ... its not because we are "free" but because we feel that we have been wronged and we are sure we are not going to take it lying down .

So PLEASE PLEASE PARENTS ... SHOW THAT YOU REALLY CARE ....NUMBERS DO MATTER ... DO JOIN IN LARGE NOS AT JANTAR MANTAR TOMM AT 11am. DO IT FOR YOUR OWN CHILD
