hi,

Cambrideg story ...

Total seats 78

After sibling and alumuni open seats was 47

They are having almost 165 application candidates securing 75 points.

Lady at the reception told me first draw has been completed with 165 seats in which they almost selected 80 candidates including wait list.

Today they have done draw for 17 seats . Means these are the seats which is not filled with last selection.

As per new guideline draw should be done for all the 47 opens  seats for all the new 70 points candidates.

They are making us fool,

Pleae help.

Times of India 9 Mar-Private schools to upload details of vacancies

NEW DELHI: Amid the upheaval caused by frequent changes in the nursery admission guidelines and schedule, the Directorate of Education has issued an order telling unaided recognized schools to "upload and update" details related to vacancies on the departmental website within a week.

"It has come to the notice of this directorate that most of the unaided recognized schools have not uploaded and updated the requisite information. ... The said lapse ... has been viewed seriously," says the circular.

The original 2010 order of Central Information Commission had asked schools to make public the total number of seats and vacancies in both general and EWS categories, total applications received under EWS quota and dates for submission of applications and admission.

The order had told DOE to upload on its website all information from Annexure II to the annual returns filed by the schools and "upload on its website details of budgetary allocation and management of private aided schools".

The second part was challenged by Delhi State Public School Management Association in 2011 and was stayed. Last year, CBSE had drawn the anger of public schools by making disclosure of information in the annual returns mandatory for registering students for the board exams. This move was met with a number of protests and even dharnas as schools found themselves unable to register their ninth or eleventh-graders for the exams. Finally, CBSE had to withdraw that. However, schools are still required to furnish seat and admission-related details.

R C Jain, president, DSPSMA, says that many low-budget private schools don't even have active websites. "The government is also issuing new instructions every day because of which the process is held up. How can they furnish details when they don't have them yet?"

"Non compliance of the order shall invite action against the erring schools under the provisions of DSEAR (Delhi School Education Act and Rules, 1973)," says the circular.
