Hi All

I suppose in near future St Francis will loose its charm duo to discriminatory factor. Its really unfair that your child is getting only 10 to 15 points. Your child will become minority and the no preference will be given to your child. State Govt. should do something about these schools. How they can be so discriminatory about religion.

Its been a total disappointment with the point system/ selection procedure followed by SFS.

  • Me & My Wife are Alumni's of SFS
  • Our son is our 1st Child
  • Our residence is within 8-10kms

And still we could not get through.

They have allotted 50 Points to Christian Applications. Its really disgusting. Some schools favour only Alumni & Siblings and ignore your other merits. Whereas, schools like SFS whom you are Alumni of (that too both Father & Mother) do not even want to consider you. Where should the Parents go?

In SFS there is no second or third list............i talked to them they said girls wid 25 points and boys wid 30 points r selected....no draw nothg is there..no more lists wil -------out.....acc to their point system i m gettg 20 points which has been displayed as 10 points in the list...so i called them today they sai dstill u will get 20 points an dwid tht also its of no use as no lottery no more lists r going to -------............so whetehr u r gettg 20 points or 10 no use.....u r nt eligible...

it is highly unfair and disrespectful institute, my child child's candidature it seems was cancelled as we cud not provide the exact adress proof that they asked, how can someone living on rent accomodation provide passport, voter id card, elec bill or mtnl landline bill as address proof on a rented accomodation????? it is higly biased, they should have said that they will not provide seats for peoples kids living on rented accomodation..... i m fusious!

My Child got 10 points (neighbourhood distance). We are living in Uttam Nager and this place is witnin 3 KM as per the criteria and we are eligible for 15 points for this  (and the same is mentioned/published in the school criteria) They have also not given the 5 points for "First time admission seeker (for those living in within 3 KM)". The total points should be 20  - really unfair.

I would like to know from the members of the forum if there is anyway to brought up this issue with school authorities. Thanks Ashwani Kumar Sharma
