@Aditya Kumar. Some school offers genuine draw like DPS, BGS, Indraprastha etc. they call parents to pick the slips or children & slips are put in the bowl in front of parents & by parents. I have attended these draw.

Is Modern convent, NK Bagrodia, Bal Bharti draw is also by genuine by slips. Has anyone attended draw in these schools.

Can anyone tell me the process of admission : some schools have shown the list of candidates with points and shared the status on list "document verification" which means they will be called for document verification and now there is stage of draw What exactly this draw means for whom this draw will be for those who have been shortlisted for document verification or for those who have not been shortlisted in first list. How does draw happen. And than we have stage of "second list also". Please help me in understanding.

Let me try.

Sequence/Stages: (Assumptions)

1. List of registered applications shown. Let school A received around 2000 applications.

2. All applicants with maximum required points like (75-50 e.g: DPS) called for document verification. For example 250 seats around 50 applicants are called for document verification.

3. If documents of all these 50 candidates get verified they are asked to deposit fees and reserve the seats. 50 seats out of 250 gone.

4. Now draw would take place for 200 seats for around 1200 candidates with 45-40 points.

5. First list would consist of students of step 3 and 4 plus some wait-list applicants.

6. If someone withdraw the admission from above step 3 and 4, then wait-list candidates were called.

7. If still seats are left due any reasons like document verification failed or non deposit of admission charges, then in that case Second List is comes out.

If we talk in terms of data each good school have received an average of 2000 applications for 200 seats. In Dwarka there are around 40 schools. So after 31 march few schools would definitely have seats left.

Hi Praveen,

Would like to confirm as you said few schools would have seats left after March. If there is any seat left, will that school ask for normal charges or they might ask for donation as well.

They will ask for nominal charges only..
