Dear Fellow Parents,

Below is the message we got from Vivekanand School, Anand Vihar:

Due to recent change in guidelines of Education Dept.,the first admission list of Pre-School & Pre-Primary(Anand Vihar) will not be displayed on 12.01.2015. The admission list(including General Category & EWS Category) will be displayed only after the draw of lot for EWS Category.The new date will be intimated accordingly

Will keep an eye out on School's website for further update on Result date.

If you want to know about mt carmel Dwarka, they will send SMS to selected candidates.

Can you be specific when you say "selected"? I will also be going there tomorrow but have not received any SMS until now.

At what time are you planing to go there? Have they given some time?

They said those selected will be informed by SMS.

The print out of online form I submitted had this information:

For General Category:
Date of Draw: 10.01.2015 (Saturday)
Time: 9.00 a.m.
Venue: Senior School, Sector 22, Dwarka, New Delhi

So planning accordingly.

Guess I am late to respond but nevertheless here is the update.

I went to Mt Carmel yesterday. For General category with 8 seats per branch for girls, one needed a real luck. My kid's name did not figure in the draw. There were 5 names in the waiting list for each branch for girls (same for boys).

So, now, the score is 2-1 for my kid. Tough luck in Sachdeva and Mt Carmel but got selected in Maxfort.

Suggestion Needed:

I don't know if its my thought only but I am finding Rs 30,000 per qtr fee (incl. transport) of Maxfort on higher side. Are all schools charging more or less this much fee? Can someone suggest if I should block the seat. Got a call from Maxfort yesterday and they have asked me to visit on Tuesday. Don't know how much time will they give for fee deposit.

DPS and Dwarka Internation draws are on Jan 15th while Modern Convent is on Jan 17th. I am really confused what to do

Thanks for sharing your views. My Daughter also selected on Maxfort Confirmed List. was present at DOL.I think Last Date to apply for Confirm List candidates is 23rd Jan. Please check on your visit on 13th Jan and confirm back in this thread.
