VIS-10 update

Well, I went to VIS-10, Dwarka. I was called for document verification. Something didn't seem right but when I reached the school and saw a list of only 15-20 kids, this feeling grew. Then I saw a parent with a cheque of 2.5 Lakhs in his hands. Suspicion grew. When I was called in for document verification, the picture became clear.

They actually called to SELL the management quota seat in the name of document verification. I was told that list will be displayed on 16th and in case my child's name is not there then I can call up the school for management quota. And the demand is 2.5 Lakhs for securing the admission. And I can get it done today itself. Out of 22 MQ seats, 12 were already filled up.

When I asked about draw I was told there is no draw and only the final list will be displayed and chances are less for my kid as they have 40 sibling forms and 22 playgroup kids (I didnt know VIS has a playgroup too) and they do not deny admission to them. So out of around 75 seats, 62 already gone. And chance of getting admission for rest 10-15 seats is a joke and nothing else. 

So, one more school off my radar now!!!! Waiting for Modern Convent, Indian Heights and Dwarka International results now. The hope of securing admission will end once the results of these schools are out.

that's sad.....earlier when i saw your msg that VIS called you, i seriously felt jealous :)

by the way, why did they choose you & not me or anyone else here......may I know a little bit of your background if you don't mind.......thanks for sharing the experience....mgmt is money hungry as it should be.....true lies !!

From what I have understood and seen as well as learnt from others (who told me the day i filled the form that I will get a call even before list s out), wherever they found that both parents are working and may be able to pay this much amount for MQ, they called them. Also people having businesses were also called.

That's is entirely my personal analysis. May not be true :)

Don't know about their Academic standard but what I know for sure is that it is Costly. My kid is selected there and they have asked for 35000 in the name of "ICT enabled fee" and it is non-refundable.

And as for amity saket...no admission criteria info...no lists...no verifications..no clear line of action..weird. ..

My son got shortlisted for DPS International rk puram, I got an email from them for document verification. As per others it is very much costly school, any idea how much fee is there. And how is the school.

Please give me some idea about school and all.

in my neighbor 2 kids go to that school. i ll find out fees.
