Is it necessary to be present for each draw, my wife just updated me from Indian school that they included only those parents who were there at the school for the draw. Is this how it is supposed to happen?

i dont think so.. they have no were mentioned that it is mandatory to be present there. in fact o school is making it mandatory as per my knowledge. PLease correct me if i am wrong

That is really bad on schools part , there could be some emergency etc due to which you can be present at draw of lots .... They should have informed these kind of selections criteria in advance...

I did not attend Ramjas draw. Strangely the lady who attended the call said that it was not necessary to be present there. I am feeling guilty now as i denied my son a chance to at least participate in the draw! this is ridiculous!

 Hello,

there is no need to feel guilt as we have also not attended the draw but my child name is there in the list of selected candidates. My advice would be wait patiently. Somewhere or the other luck will struck. :)

Nowhere is written that parents have to be there during the Draw. But for verification of documents one of the parents have to be there on date given by school management.

 thats  not  correct , i was also  present....  they put  in all the chits in the  end.

yes it is correct. all the chits were kept in the box, irrespective of whether the parents were present or not in indian school. i attended it, but i ws not among the lucky ones
