Hi Sakshi/Latha & all parents,

Thank you very much for all the support and update during the Admission Process. This was one heck of a task !! 

Managed to get through a few good schools, few average and few not so good schools. Still 46 schools is a lot to fill applications and follow up which could not have been done if I was not a part of this Forum. So, a Big Big thanks to everyone..

Finally saying adios to the forum/group with Best Wishes to all the kids and the parents for a successful journey ahead. I know everyone would be excited to see the kids go to school on first day. For all those still struggling to get through schools, again my wishes to them and I pray that they get a seat in a good school.

Somewhere in my heart, I still love and miss my school and my kid would go and begin his journey of friendships, bonding & sharing..one day to be all grown up and part of bigger society.

If anyone's kid is going to AIS - Saket, then we can catch up (if you want to). You can message me here  :)

Dear Jitin,

Congratulations! Your kid has got admission in a wonderful school.

You were also very active in this forum and your feedbacks have really counted. Even we were trying for AIS Saket but did not get a 100% confirmation so took up the option of Indian School. But really happy that our struggle has ended up finally.

Big big thanks to the nursery admission site- Mr. Vohra & Sakshi for their great support.

Thanks all! 

It is really an emotional journey for all the parents to get admission for their wards in school. 

Nursery admission was with me and all the parents throughout. Sakshi's words of encouragement and guidance really helped us in staying touch and getting first hand information. 

I am grateful to this site to guide me and help me in every possible way. A big thank you to Sakshi and Mr. Vohra.

Dear Vohra Ji, Sakshi, Latha, & all the parents,

It has been about 7-8 months that I have been a member of this illustrious group and I must accept this sojourn of 7-8 months has been just awesome and invigorating particularly in the times when I have been circumvented by sheer despondency and felt very low. I have not been an active contributor like many others for which I have regrets too but I have been a very keen and meticulous observer all along. 

I had applied to 25 schools in total within 10 KM radius in south & central Delhi for my first born, now a 3.5 yr boy and had intended to apply to more which I stopped after my first call from Amity International School, Saket came as a pleasant surprise in the 2nd week of Jan. It was immediately followed by Blue Bells International Kailash Colony which we made it after a short 5 min interview. I chose Amity over Blue Bells despite it being at more than double the distance from our house giving weightage to a national & potentially international brand verses a local South Delhi/Delhi brand and more academics focussed school verses a more extra- curricular focussed school.

Then came Sardar Patel document verification call which brought us in the shortlist of 240 general candidates for 40 seats but the hope shattered on the 26th Feb when the final result came out. In the meantime there was a call from Birla Vidya Niketan also based on the mail I wrote to them in the 3rd week of Feb which I didn't though pursue further. Recently there was a call from Frank Anthony too under apparently management quota but I didn't pursue it too. All along though I was discontent and desperate to get my child in the top 3-5 schools in Delhi at least which I am still and have not really given up till date. I have written a personalised and extremely passionate mail with full vigour to all the top 10 schools and am trying all other options that I can lay my hand on hoping against hope for a miracle in the next few days; rest I leave it on the child's destiny.

For 3 months nothing else has driven me more than nursery admission for my child. It's been a tough journey but thanks to you all for being my partners in this crucial journey and helping me keep my sanity intact. This forum by Vohra Ji has been just phenomenally amazing; kudos to him and his team, Sakshi & Latha for the great work they do for all the parents. You guys are the real heroes; rest assured you have so many good wishes flooded from all of us parents that your lives would blossom always. Keep the great work going for coming seasons of admissions. All the best!
