Hi Hemnath,

My daughter will be attending Basava. 

When i called up a few days back, they said it will most probably be on 27/28 march and also mentioned it will be informed by mail and phone call.

 See you at the orientation :)

Hi Shivsankari,

We called the school today morning. Orientation is scheduled for April 1 and school starts from April 6th.

I've also admitted my daughter in Basava. received a leeter regarding the orientation date to be 1st April. I think we need to give the school feedback on two things -

1. Their landline is never picked up.

2. Their website design really needs a lot of improvement.

Any clues on how they shall plan to schedule the settling phase for the child? I've heard about some schools of North Delhi planning for just an hour-two hrs stay of the child in school for the first week and then slowly bringing it to the normal time. Any idea how Basava is planning??

Basava's landline n website is indeed a problem, we should discuss it.

I ve heard they don't ve any self-defense class. We can bring that up too.  

Is your kid going to school for the first time?

She's attended play school but took quite some time to settle down there. So I'm a litte worried about this change as well. I don't know how open would they be to feedback and inputs during the orientation time.

OK. My dd also took a month to get settled in pre school. But now she is well adjusted, I am hoping it would continue in formal school.  

Let's see how the schoolauthorities react to feedbacks .

my daughter is in Sec C. I am not availing transport. Hope they have a great first day!!
