Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

Hi All

I am relocating  to Gurgaon shortly and I am in process  of shortlisting a school for my son who is 2.6 years old now. I can see very good Montessori options but not  sure where I should go for it or not.

If I select Montessori , will normal schools accept him in class 1.Are Montessori schools worth it?

Pls pour in your views

Thanks

Hi!
Well I'm not sure that what you exactly expect from schools but as a experienced kindergarten teacher and a parent too of a 3 years old girl.. I prefer Montessori as its a happy go kind of the atmosphere there without any much strain on writing part but they give more stress on oral skills n self dependancy ....and in my opinion in early days its the most important part for any baby's overall development who have just put his foot in the outside world...later on upper KG and say KG's are there too in formal schools for reading and writing part learning....rest it is decided only whenyou go n look yourself....sometimes we finds ans like the unexpected things...

All the best for your searching...

In Montessori emphasis is made on cognitive learning, concrete learning  and overall development of the child but in  traditional its abstract learning and focus is towards social development. Mont- child centered learning Trad- Teacher centered learning. In Mont child learns by handling objects and  individualized learning or self learning. In Trad. - teacher directed learning. Child has total freedom to move and observe. But in Traditional classroom child is assigned a seat and follow specified periods. Montessori is worth  and you will not have problem in shifting to normal schools.
