Yes..even I heard so many good things abt the school and school teachers..in fact one of my neighbor got her second child to FAS vaishali as she was not shortlisted for FAS noida and at the same time another neighbor shifted her daughter from FAS to khaitan after 4 std..so every parent has their own priority for their child :)

Can u confirm from ur neighbour what was reason of changing school. For me child safety is first..I have heard academic is good but what about other activities like sports

This is FAS....and I have also faced the same when I applied for my son way back in 2010.....FAS, Noida is definitely not in the same league as other convent schools...I have been listening negative views on this school fro many parents and my friends whose kids are studying there, in fact two of my friends took both of their kids out of FAS and preferred to put them in Amity and Presidium....The time the school Rev. spends during the interaction is hardly a minute....don't know what kind of assessment can they make in a minute and decide on selection of a kid. During my son's time, they were just putting A, A+, B etc kind of marking on all the forms.....what I later understood was that people who had A+ written on their form were selected and with A were put in the wait list....they just go by parent's background.........

i received a call from amity vasundhra sec6, and they said that my child is selected in first round.

they have called me tomorrow for 2nd round, child is not mandatory.

my first round was on 24th, they said thye might update it on site by 9 pm also.

need to take all original certificates with me.

anybody already had 2nd round there? any feedbacks on what happened there?

Good to hear that after waiting for long u did receive a call. But mostly as per parents info, for second round they are not calling instead updating on website.

I myself have my first interaction on 27th and still waiting for their 2nd round update.

As per parents update who visited Amity second round, below were some questions I remember, hope if that may be of some help for you......

1. Why Amity!

2. If both parents working, who takes care of child

3. Describe your child

4. What is ur expectation from school

5. How do you handle ur child tantrums and say no to child.

Above are few questions I remember were asked by parents wherein 2-3 member panel would interact with you. In case child is accompanying you, would be taken separately by teacher for interaction.

Would need one favour if you can enquire tomorrow in school that when can parents expect second round interaction call who completed their process of 1st round last week.

I will not be taking my child along as it is not mandatory.

My child anyways to too shy and will not interact with any teacher separately :)

But child is mandatory and they r not giving call to anyone, they are just updating the status on their website.

Child is not mandatory.. no such remark is on their site. Also she said on phone that child is not mandatory. It is our wish if we want to take her along.

Sandeep, the above questions were asked when we had gone to submit the form. and there was a surprise written exam for parents.

Same question will be asked verbally as well? Please suggest as I have my next round by tomorrow.

Hi Anuj,

I too have next round in amity vashundhara tomorrow. But both parent along with kid are mandatory to come.
