Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

I agree with your perspective, However we can't forego the basic facilities/infra which a school MUST provide & i complete agree with the views of Swati & other parents here, As my own child is studying in APEEJAY in NUR, The key concern which we are facing are as follows -

Teacher : Student Ratios

They have approx 50 students & 1 teacher ( They have 1 maid which is shared between 2 classes) , This is also depends on child, PLEASE MAKE A NOTE here, if your child needs an attention then he/she will not be focused at all & we have seen performance of our child going down day by day because of this, But if your child is brilliant & able to focus on studies it's not going to create any significant impact.

But being parents i think we all want our child needs to be well taken care of.

Hygiene

Please go & visit the wash rooms of Pre-Primary section, It's pathetic..... then public toilets

Infrastructure

No improvement since long on Infrastructure

Teaching Methodology

Still they are using the same old methodology to teach the children.

Communications

No message on mobiles on the activities, Child activities, Still sends hard copies (Planner for complete month), No Update on Diary. No Activity rooms.

Security

Now this is main concern, where any parent will not do any compromises, They have no security at all & it breaches many times.

Transportation

I think this is the only school in NCR, who have private buses for transport with no legal agreement, School doesn't own the buses, Looks like Buses which goes to Vijaynagar (GZB) NO name printed on the buses, No information of the school.

We are also planning to change the school, Keeping finger crossed.

Thanks Mrs Sharma for sharing the insights. My intent is/was not to get into any debates. Like I said, it's absolutely basis personal experiences. When I had applied, there were parents who vouched for this being the best school (well they still are as their wards study in there) and the moment we decided to submit the fees (well that could be for any school) there were parents who shared negative feedback.

So you may be correct, because so far we haven't been inside any of the schools and am sure that's what is worrying the parents. I just shared an observation and of course, everyone needs to go through so many factors before deciding what's best for their child (I still stress on our "judgement" and "constraints" that are derived from so many facts and factors). Thanks again for sharing the feedback for all.

I am agree with you on above points. My daughter is also studying their .

We are also planning to change the school but what we got from the people from KG all the big name schools (Amity) 35-40 student and one teacher.

They have 2 teachers in Nursery only.

Father angle have 1 teacher in Nursery also and around 40 students.

Have you shortlisted some schools for admission in KG. Please advice me also.

I am not able to decide the school. When I go for the reviews , every school is having positive and negative reviews.

Tried in Shiv Nadar , they haven't open admission for nursery this year. They said no seats.

Last year we haven't tried there.

Please let me know the options which you are liking.

Thanx Sakshi for such a wonderful forum to help the parents to gain knowledge about the schools and complete procedural updates about admission...... I have been following this forum since very long and it finally helped me for search of best schools as per my opinion, the school with best in academics, bit of extra curricular and suites my budget.... accordingly i have made my priority as Fas Noida and SFS Indirapuram.... Although my daughter got selected in Amity Sec-6 vasundhara in first lot itself..........I dropped the idea of joining there. Then a setback for not selection at FAS-Noida.... To have a backup i added one more school in my list and that is SCDAV and submitted application....But I am happy that my search ended here only with the result of SFS indirapuram wherein the result was purely on merit basis as my kid has answered everything from greeting the teachers as Good Morning till the end of Interaction as Bye... Bye...

So, I think the decision of school selection is purely on our own instinct and for targeting those schools and achieve success in admission we need to take inputs from this forum.... I heartly thanks all the parents for their participation in anyway during this whole process.
