English Speaking in Bal Bhavan International Dwarka

Dear Supriyo Ji,

Please share how kids are groomed for English speaking, are they able to read, speak and write English, when they are supposed to.

hello dear Naveen sir,

with my two year experience in BBIS i can say that the school is trying hard to make students learn, read and write in English. But spoken English is lacking some how. so are the other schools in Dwarka as well.

but how can we blame only the school... its our home environment and our conversation with our kids.. do we speak to them in English daily and all the time.. i think no...

we want to show off in front of others...
just accept the fact that we in north India is belong to Hindi/// and its so deep rooted that we can't go away from it.
and i am a teacher and that's why i want to say that plez don't make your child and artificial Englishman. so hard we try we can't be like them.. Groom and nurture your child in the natural way.

that's how i feel and sorry for anything that may have hurt you.

I also think in School Students het only an environment to speak in English, But if we can make him comfortable in speaking in English at home, it would be easier for him/her...BBIS will not be giving an environment to encourage English speaking.....That is my idea from speaking with the students

we are hindi birds and we have to accept it dear friend...

never try to make your child an artificially English man.. it will kill his/her natural instinct.

he or she have to deal with Indians who are largely known to Hindi and other local languages. (if he/she is going to settle abroad)

learning a foreign language is good thing but imposing it on kids is bad.

however we had made so much ga ga over English.. that even I get worried if my kid will not be able to speak Queen's language what will happen to his career...

hope you guys will not mind... its my point of view and lacking spoken English part worries me as well..
