Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Hi Sakshi.. would appreciate any feedback on the modern school Faridabad and charmwood village... Infrastructure is top of the line....however not sure abt the faculty n administration

Getting admission in Modern School within 2-3 yrs would be very tough as it is core branch of Delhi Modern School n very much sought after in Delhi

Based on what all information I've gathered..

MDPS is all because of its Director/Principal Mr.Verma. And nobody knows what will happen after him, like who will be the next principal and how the school will turn out. Also I've heard that there is more pressure on the kid compared to DPS.

If it goes the way MVN has after late Mr. Gopal Sharma then it is a matter of concern otherwise MDPS will be first choice. On the other hand, on my interaction with DPS,GF principal Mrs. Khanna, I liked her thoughts about the education and vision for the school and her focus upon the overall development of the kids. Also, the infrastructure is better I felt.

So that is the reason of confusion.

No one can predict future, so looks like we'll have to take a gamble.

I agree with anmol ..go for school having dynasty not where individual call the shots.

I would recommend modern school which has to adhere to modern school delhi guidelines and see things in long run not in short term

Getting the guideline is one things and following them is another. I agree that Modern school will be getting all the guidelines from Delhi but who knows about the management of Faridabad branch.

Compare this, in the very first year of opening of DPS, GF more than 900 students were enrolled but in its first session of Modern school I dont think more than 200 students enrolled, so that shows something. I'm not against Modern school but its just that I'm not able to give them benefit of doubt until I see some good figures from them. 2017-18 will be there 2nd session and yet they are offereing admissions to everyone; when I went they were like "Submit the cheque today itself". So that I didnt liked.

I would say, give Modern school some time and lets watch their progress, anyways there is always an option of switching schools (with luck) later.
