Hi all,

Have been reading lot of news around the neighbourhood clause being enforced by the government. Is it actually followed or each school has its own criteria? Generally what is the radius considered by schools for neighbourhood

@Priyam Agarwal. Its the distance in KM fixed by govt. (like 10 km) around school. Its followed by the school.

Thanks Sandeep. What am trying to understand is that if I stay in sector 6 and I prefer schools in other sectors which are bit far will it be an issue to get admission

I too stay in Sector 6 and if you consider 10 KM then you can apply in all schools at that are with in Dwarka and Janakpuri as this distance is based on aerial distance (if I am not wrong)

@Priyam Agarwal. Distance Criteria is finalized by govt. schools has to follow it can be 10 Km or less. Points are given on that basis. You can be consider on point basis. there are different point system which is finalized by govt. at the beginning of admission.

Is the admission Criteria for 2017-18 has been finalised by Govt?
