The schools accepting the forms do not further make the age as any criteria for the points. My child is also 4 years 1 month 8 days, but fortunately got through Mount Carmel.

So I think your child's age might not be a problem for the admission.

My child was selected at Maxfort, I did all the formalities and was ready to deposit the DD, then they saw the age and was 4 Yrs 11 Days by 31st March. They denied admission in Nursury. And saying will consider for KG if seats are vacant.

You could try there. There it was not a problem, however they said they do not have a lot system and they go for first come first serve basis.

But have you applied for other schools? In that case you should wait for the draw results everywhere.

And age should not be any problem, if the name comes out in the draw.

As far as I have the information, Maxfort draw is not yet over. The schools try canvasing the parent before their actual draw so that they can fill up their management seats.

The schools can not legally deny nursery admission to any child above the age of 3 as of 31.03.17
