Right to have a fair chance of being selected in draw list

ITL have given direct admission to sibling categories. I have list.
This all draw system is so annoying that we are not even getting a fair chance of being considered in "draw list".
Even after having most of the top schools within 6 km range, our name has no where been selected in draw list. DPS, st. Thomas, ITL, Mount Carmel, Bal bharti, are full.
Chances of getting selected are only when u r residing nearest to the school with sibling already studying there.
Losing hope now for my kid to get selected in best school. We may have to adjust with below average school.

Ideally draw should be done considering all the applicants who have applied.
Admission in Delhi is complete mess.

How many of you are ready to file PIL in Delhi High Court so that we can fight for our right.

We can do that but surely it wouldn't help our kid:s admission for this year. School are just following guidelines given by DOE.
I believe court rejected neighbourhood criteria and asked schools to wait first, No schools could have started the procedure without court final verdict. but schools started their procedure through neighbourhood criteria.

what abt the preference given to girl child in some schools...looks like they want to take siblings and girls only ...

Yea u r right it to totally unfair.... they are not even considering us for the draw...every school have their own criteria....and at the end the parents who r residing far from the school are beggar's....as we don't have any options....we just need to wait or else pay huge donations.....

I agree that admission in delhi is a complete mess. The illogical neighborhood criteria imposed by the govt is to be blamed...The high courts deceision came so late that most of the schools continued with the criteria already fixed. Its not that the siblings are benefiting.

My second son didn't get into any school inspite of having the sibling points as the distance was beyond 6 kms in mostly all the schools in dwarka. Most schools give points for first child n girl child.... i had none. So, the result: my child hasnt been selected in any of the schools so far.
