Name not selected in any school
Hi
We are from Rohini Sector 15 and I applied in approximately 28 schools in my area for my 1st son.
My son's name has not came in any of the school.
Now I want to know what next. I have below options :-
1. Should I wait for next list which will come on 17th March.
2. Should I start calling schools and ask for management quota if possible.
3. Should i hope to be called by another schools if the school share their applicant data with less popular schools.
4. Shall I start talking to less popular schools right now on my own or wait till 17th March.
5. Any other suggestion ......
Pl help.

Wait for the 2nd list. A student apply in many schools but take admission in only one so seats become vacant.

Name got selected in gitarattan Jindal public school. They have a list of more than 400 candidates. Pl suggest where I should take the seat or wait for 2nd list.

I also applied for 26 schools in Rohini/PP area for my first male child but didn't got though in any school even not in waiting list except in gd G.
Please provide inputs on management quota.

My sons name has not featured in any list .How far is it justified my son has to travel 4-5km now when there is a school in opposite lane?Thw state of affairs is disgusting .Doesnt the school have some moral resposibilty to cater to the need of community that it is within?if not the 1km criteria they should be atleast made to identify the nearest point within 1km or witihin 500 m or even less till which they consider their own community kids for admissions then beyond that they can put any limit they want to.just to appease a small percentafe of people a laerger population shall suffer as always

Yes Prerna you are right. The issue is that schools are actually a business just like hospitals. The sad part is that the court has taken their side.

I have lost my sleep over this i think the natural course would now be to go to individual school and try as his name is not even in waiting list

I am also facing same problem, I have applied 17 school on the basis of neighborhood criteria, but due to court order on last day I am not able to apply for more school. Now I am confused what to do next.

This draw system is all bullshit.. They ask parent to take out the slip for draw just to apiece them. Parents take out the slip and hand over to school staff without opening it now who guarantees that schools staff announces the same number that is there in the slip.
What an eyes wash they give.
Disappointing........
Last date of application was 14th and the court decision came on 14th only. I applied in limited schools being sure of admission in neighbouring school with neighbourhood criteria.

Same here...was assured on the basis of neighbourhood my son would secure a seat...but the revised system spoilt all....it's all so frustrating...every school has their own criteria
