Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
We are in Dwarka & in the 1st list our name did not come in the preferred schools but have one option to take admission in Delhi International School.
We wanted to hold the seat in Delhi International school & keep the option open if name comes in 2nd list for the Sri Venkateshar School we can withdraw the admission from DIS & take admission in SVIS.
Checked with DIS & they are saying neither they can wait until 16th March neither they can withdraw the admission from school.
Can some one advise if giving a withdrawal option is mandate for school or its school choice to give or not.

If a school is in Delhi then it has to follow the guidelines of DOE. There is a very clear policy on refund and the same has to be adhered to . A fresh directive was also issued in February regarding the same.
But having said that , I must also add that very few schools are following the GUIDELINES laid down by DOE. You will have to fight for your rights.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will 1st check the guideline of DOE & if its there I will fight with them based on guideline.

Yes Sumit
The irony of the whole situation is that the lesser sought after schools are the ones that have the toughest refund policies for the parents.
