Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
Hi all,
Can anybody share details about the management quota seats in VIS and Indraprastha. Someone is telling that all the management quota seats in both these schools have got fulfilled.

So far as management seats are concerned, it is basically demand supply and nothing else. Out of total 35 management seats, some of it will be filled by VIP recommendations without donation, some will be filled internally, and remaining will go for a price. Now, suppose, by the end of march, or in some cases by July, if these seats remain unsold, the schools will themselves start calling applicants for admission without donation. This is not likely to happen with VIS though since there are lot of people who don't mind paying money for VIS. But it happens for B and C grade schools every year.
Thanks again for your views.
If you have source VIS will give admission...I know someone who paid hefty amount to VIS in april 2 years back for admission.
so what you all think about the VIS overall reputation and feedback on studies and extra curricular of the school.
Hi Rakesh,
Thanks for your suggestions and insight. Even i am in a similar situation and my daughter name didnt came in any school list. I dont want to pay Donation for management quota, but i am not getting how to proceed in this situation.
Either i wait for calls from School, that may be the one which i want for my kid or i go and ask for Management seat before it get filled?
What you suggest?
Prateek, Taking up MQ seats on payment is entirely a personal decision. You should take a call considering your situation.
I have also not got any offer. Not even waiting list. I have applied for MQ seats in VIS and DPS but the chances for their materialization is almost NIL since I wont pay. Hence I have paid the fees for Maxfort Kids. I am planning to send my son to MaxKids as of now and keep on trying for DPS and VIS next year and the year after. The best part is that when you apply for KG or 1st in these schools, then there is no distance criteria. It is on seat availability basis. I am free to apply and prospect in all DPSs, Vasant valley, Shriram and some other top schools. I think this is the best approach to avoid the guilt of paying donation/bribe.
Today i visited VIS again and the lady at the reception upfront said all 20 management seats are full. When i confronted saying i had come 2 days ago, she asked me to send an email to the school.
I agree with Rakesh, paying a hefty donation for a management seat is a personally decision. Most of the schools are milking good money due such desperation from parents like us. I hope things will ease out after the second list is out for other schools. Else, i will also have no option but to put my daughter in a less preferred school for a year or two and keep trying for better schools next year or after that.
Hi Jaspreet, Thanks for the update on VIS. Did you also try DPS? I am sure it must be a similar situation there.
Rakesh, i did not try DPS at all.
Hi
I also applied for 22 schools and no luck.... VIS is very good but no chance without donation
maxfort and OPG are open for admission
but as of now instead of paying donation i have decided to continue her in presidium since she is already in mothers pride and will try again next year
donation for nursery admission.... NOOOOOOOO
Any Idea how is OPG as compared to Mamxfort. What is the fee structure at OPG?
