Hi Sakshi, Parents

My child got selected in SFS and Amity Sec-6 Vasundhara.

We left Amity Noida due to distance from our location and NOT selected for FAS-N.

As I reside near to delhi, so would go any apply for East Delhi based schools too mainly targeting DAV-Shrestha Vihar.

So, can you please suggest how is SFS and Amity Sec-6 in comparison to DAV Shrestha Vihar and how tough it would be to get admission there.

Also please suggest from Seat Block prospective as in SFS (80K with no refund) and in Amity (80K with some refund).

I just have 1 more day before giving admission fee in SFS or Amity Sec-6

Hi Kapil, I am in same boat. My daughter has been selected in SFS, Amity Sec 6 Vasundhara, Jaipuria and DPS I result is awaited. I also filled form for DPS N and FAS N but not shortlisted for interaction at both places. After much consultation with others, we have decided to block seat at SFS. It's definetly better that Amity 6. We were in dilemma about DPS I and SFS, but after consulting with parents of both schools, decided with SFS.

Reg Delhi schools, I'll also try there once admission are open there, but that is tough nut to crack and you must block a seat in NCR. Many delhi parents also do the same - blocking a seat in NCR before trying in Delhi. I talked to a parent whose ward was studying in DAV Dayanand Vihar which is more or less of same repute as of Shrestha Vihar and they were not much satisfied. Their main focus was on academics and communication and were thinking of shifting their wards to SFS. But again, it's their opinion. BTW, having school in Delhi has more benefits than NCR like more regulation of Govt, reservation in universities in Delhi etc.

Quite tough to get in Good Delhi schools without sibling or alumni points and distance also main criteria(with points)

Kapil, I think you should go for SFS. I think Amity Vasundhara is not value for money.  Hope that you get a seat in Delhi based school. But, in case of negative results out there, St.Francis is better than Amity-6
