Regarding address proof

I heard in one program of admission that residence proof should be of 6 months back date...But if anybody shifted just one month back how that will be possible?Plz help

As per DOE guidelines lease or rent agreement is not a valid proof. But very few schools accept lease/rent agreement which is 6 months older at the time of admission. Rest it's up to schools if they accept or not. You can apply for mtnl telephone bill or have electricity bills in your name.

Yes we got mtnl landline connection but rent agreement we have only 1 month month old...Is there any prob...Bcoz in form they are asking since when you are residing at this place

Can you validate my case .I stay in rented property so i don't have a water/electricity bill.

I just shifted to Dwarka sector18A, 3-4 weeks ago from Pune.

I don't have even a BSNL/MTNL bill. What i have is a rent agreement, gas bill & credit card statement comes on my address as i recently updated it.

Anshul, based on my experience nothing of above will work. You will need your/spouse or in some case both Aadhar with Delhi Address or Voter Card for residence proof and Aadhar Card for kid with Delhi Address. This is really frustrating for parents.

I am looking for first child admission. Experience is like each school has their own admission criteria and points system. If you have all the documents then you will be happy else no one can help.

And admission is first on luck and later if you can pay donation school asks you, against their Management Quota seats.

Okay Amit. You needn't worry...

It nowhere mentioned on criteria that Adhar card or any other identity needs to be of Delhi only to apply.

Aadhar card is valid all over India & nobody can't deny admission on this basis. Kid's new adhar will be generated only parent's address or in case she/he is born in delhi ,then you may get Adhar Delhi based not sure.

Secondly even if you want to go for any change in Adhar address it will still be require water/electricity bill or MTNL bill etc which is only possible for person who owes a house in delhi. so its a loop.

What i got to know through many parents whose kids are already in school now, you need to have these:-

1.Adhar card of parent & spouse

2.Rent agreement 3/6 months old

3. Birth certificate

4. Affidavit for first kid girl/boy child.

FYI...

Applied for Aadhar for my kid on last Tuesday 01/02, got it on 01/06 , within 5 days.

Applied for address change on Aadhar card for delhi address on this friday 01/05, got it updated on today i.e. 01/07 i.e. 2 days only.

PS: I didn't got any email for confirmation on any of above.

I kept checking the status of aadhar on https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ & downloaded the new aadhar or updated aadhar.

This can be used for online form & hard copies too. So don't need to wait until you recieve the aadhar by post.

Luckily, i had credit card bill . Otherwise a rent agreement can also be used for address update.

You can apply for an address update online / visit enrollment centres with a proof as your address mentioned with a photograph & signed by a gazetted officer.

SBI MOHAN GARDEN branche is updating the address using the rent agreement as well.

Changes made at enrollment centres are getting updated within few hours.anka
