After seeing Ambience's fee structure, we're getting second thoughts. But it would be in our contingency plan provided our child's name comes in the list.

I think, this year, there is more competition / rush for nursery admissions due to imposition of age limit from next year.

So parents who were waiting to get their child admitted in 2019-20 session are doing the same now in 2018-19 session. Even my in-laws suggested to get the child admitted in 2019-20 session before the fresh directions arrived.

In my opinion, 3 years is early for a child for school. Most of the kids I've seen and know (including mine) can't even frame sentences properly.

It pains us to see a child's innocence, age & time lost in this age of competition. But in today's world, what choice do we have?

Yes competition is more for KG as many schools have put upper age limit against DOE orders for Nursery.

But very few parents delayed or could not get admission in Nursery last year ( like every year) so i feel ( slightly more but not much for Nursery as it is always very competitive every year for Nursery)

Went for verification in DOON public school. They were offering seats on the spot with a heft amount of fees.

Since the school was very far away from our residence, we told them we will be waiting for list of schools nearby

They were asking approximately 1 Lacs for Three months(this included Fees for three months). After 3 months We were ought to pay the pm Fees of 17K Excluding books+ Transport. I found it very expensive. Although infrastructure of the school was fine enough for me.
