What if your child doesn't get selected in desired schools?

Hi All,

As we all parents wish to get the best possible education for our children, not of all us can get our children to top schools. As the D-day is coming nearer, I wish to know opinion of all the parents and moderators on the below points:

1) What if your child doesn't get selected to top schools or schools where you desired? Will you compromise and get your child admitted to some 'mediocre' schools?

2) What if your child doesn't get selected to ANY Schools you have applied? What should be the strategy adopted in this case?

I had applied in almost 28 schools but my son got selected in ghps vasant vihar only..its almost 15 km from my place..i live in kalkaji..im so upset..dony know what to do now..

Block your seat in GHBS.

Rest seeing previous year trends, you will get better school.

Patience is the key.

what are the refund rules on blocking a seat? because most of the schools take admission fee and atleast one month fee in advance

They only bound to "MONEY"

No idea.. how many seats in Ryan as they dont hv any website.

PLS NOTE ALL GOVT NOTIFICATION IS VALID UNLESS AMENDED.

THESE WERE VALID FOR 2016/2017 AND ALSO FOR 2018

Mr Vohra has requested Education Minister to get it notified again for 2018-19 for confused parents and erring schools.

Pls chk above link last notifications also reissued after Mr Vohra request you can find 7-8 articles with the link.
