I don't get it.
They had called shortlisted parents with their child for document verification & interview on 19-2-18 & 20-2-18.
We had also went there as we were shortlisted.
Parents successful after document verification & interview were given Admission Forms on the spot with last date for Admission Fee (read capitation fee) of Rs. 26,500/- as 21-2-2018.
We were also given admission form as we were successful in document verification & interview.
We'll be depositing the Admission Fee (read capitation fee) today (21-2-18) itself as this is the only school where our kid has been selected.

This might be the draw for remaining seats(b/w 10 pointers)...!!

Hi Pankaj,
You just made my day after posting Agnel draw otherwise it would have gone unnoticed as I was waiting for 28th feb for second list.
After failing to get through 22 schools , I can finally see my child's name there .
Thanks a lot .
Can you also advise regarding reviews of Father Agnel ?

I understand the feeling when anyone sees his/her child name in the list. It gives me immense pleasure to see such a smile on parents face...!! I cannot say I am much more happy than you...But trust me...I am not even less happy !!
Regarding reviews... Its a good school ..block this first...and look for other options as well..!!

Hi Shalu,
You had mentioned interview in Father Agnel, is it generic one or they were rejecting candidates as well?
I heard there are no interviews now if you are shortlisted via draw.

Hi DD,
We came to know today that the initial shortlist consisted of alumni, christian minorities, siblings, etc.
As is the priority of mainly all schools, FAS chose to first fill its seats with same categories.
Our's was an alumni case.
Today's DOL was for open category candidates other than above categories for remaining seats.
Yes, all the parents and child were interviewed.
The child was interviewed by primary school teachers. Asked the kids mainly their name, parent's names, colour of their clothes, etc.
Parents were interviewed by Vice Principal as the Principal was out of town.
The Vice Principal asked us why do we want to get our child admitted in this school.
Once my husband told him that he is an alumni of the school, the entire conversation took a different turn for good.
Old memories were relived, etc.
He just made some remarks on the form (probably accepted our application) and sent us to school office where we were issued admission form.
I don't know if any candidates were rejected.
Maybe the process is same for open category candidates.
However, now the Principal has arrived and he is a lot more strict than the VP (my husband told me).
So cross your fingers.
It might take you 2-3 hours in the process.
It took us 3 hours, but we were approximately 100 parents. Since open category is of 30 parents, so it should probably take less time.
Go prepared with your kids spare clothes, food and drinks as there is no canteen in the school.
There used to be a canteen but it was shut down by school management due to complaint over sale of poor food quality by the censor.
