Hi Suman,

  You are not the only one who is facing the issue, even I was expecting the same for my child filled most of the nearby schools with an vision of getting the first opportunity, but the fact is the points system is very complicated every school have their own set of policies with points, despite being within a Km radius we could only capture only 30 points and school is giving 20 each points for parents supporting any NGO or state awardee,,,I mean what sort of a joke is this. I realize this that schools will never give top priority to nearby childs, as they have their busses standing who will use them how will they earn if they will pick everyone within nearby vicinity, so one living at far where bus is required will gain most points and nearby peoples will have to settle with draw systems.which is again made on very few leftover seats and it's all luck there or on first come first serve basis.

  It's tough today to get best school for our wards. :(

Hi Gaurav,

 As discussed before, i have blocked a seat in Maharaja Agresen , Ashok Vihar and now today in the 2nd list of DLDAV Shalimar Bagh my child name is shortlisted for admission and said to verify the documents on tommorrow.

Please suggest your opinion/ advise.

Today was the 2nd draw of the school except 1st list of selected and waiting list.

every school has different criteria maximum by monday all the draws will be made as they have to close the admission process by 28th with fees deposit.

My daughter has been shortlisted in the following schools, kindly advise which is better:

(i) Greenfield Nursery (Safdarjung Enclave)

(ii) Holy child Auxilium, R.K Puram

(iii) Hope Hall Foundation, R.K Puram

(iv) Lalit Mahajan Shishu Vidya Mandir

(v) WL 11 in DPS Vasant Vihar (Hopefully will be there in second list).

Kindly advise which is better among these ?
