Hi Sakshi, My son is shortlisted in Maharaja Agrasen Model school, Pitampura as well today. Shall I stick with Hansraj and wait for their update as they are yet to confirm the admission dates?

I had already blocked a seat in Ramjas Day boarding in first list as my ward didn't appeared in first list of rest of 30 schools I applied. Now I have got SMS from Maxfort and call from Spring days ashok vihar and ramjas anand parbat that my kid has been selected in their schools.

I already have sent mails to various schools for MQ seat but haven't got any response. Than I thought to personally approach 3 top schools for MQ. In one, I was told the rate is 5 lakhs, in 2nd, the lady just told that it will be 'very expensive' for us and in third school gatekeeper told me that 'sir management quota ke liye school nahi bahar se hee saara mamla set hota hai'

Sad that my kid couldn't got into any of the top schools I applied. Chance of getting a call from top schools looks impossible. Only thing I can do is to wait for one year and try again next year.. Need opinion from moderators and rest of the parents.

3 Spring days ashok vihar .I won't recommend.

As upper age cut off being next year for Nursery being implemented.I would suggest you to block seat in any Composite school and change in future. As getting directly in KG might not be very easy next year.

Where do you stay ?

Moreover Ramjas AN/Day Boarding you have in hand right now so need to panic as not bad for initial 1-2 yrs.

Sakshi, thanks for detailed reply.. I stay in sarai Rohilla so Ramjas Daybaording is just 2 kms away. Yeah initial 1-2 years won't matter so I will keep trying next year (and next year after that!) for top schools...

Just wondering if worrying about ward not getting into nursery in top schools makes one sad, what will happen when the child is not able to crack top colleges when he grows up ! Strange times...
