I don't understand why DPS mathura road is taking out list after list for nursery admission. For sure something is a reason.

Possibly, parents now prefer opting for new age schools, with approach to holistic developement and well equipped with modern infrastructure.

Dear Garima

As regards DPSMR firstly they have 240 seats and 8 sections. Considering their size it's but obvious that parents would opt out as per their choice.

Secondly the school believes in being transparent about everything. They could easily have closed admission after the second list and auctioned off the remaining seats. But they believe in doing everything by the book. Sadly today parents trust schools which close their admission after the first list only to sell the remaining seats but don''t trust a transparent school. Today normal people like me without Alumni or Sibling have been able to get their kids in DPSMR solely on the basis of distance points.

To give you an small example. DPSMR came out with vacancies for Class 6. As per break up there was 1 seat for Staff Quota, In the absence of any application, same was merged with Open seats. Tell me how many of the so called elite schools would have done it.

For me the character of the school is reflected by its behavior not the name on its board.
