Having trouble in getting kid admitted in private schools under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS)/Disadvantaged Group (DG) quota, after their names appeared in the list of selected candidates, complaints from parents continued to pour in. The Directorate of Education (DoE) had recently warned the schools for denying admission under the category on “flimsy grounds”. Pankaj Kumar (name changed) and his wife, both visually-impaired, were on cloud nine when they were informed that their three-and-a-half-year-old was selected in a sought-after school in South Delhi on March 15. A few days later, when they visited the school, they were told that all seats got filled. “Both my brother and his wife are visually challenged and have no means of income. We were really happy when he was allotted a good school. But, now we are running pillar to post to get him enrolled,”
Similarly, a parent from Rohini complained that the school which was allotted to his kid refused to give her admission. “We approached the school as many as eight times since March 15. The officials said that my kid’s name is on the waiting list and we will be informed accordingly. How is it even possible when his name was in the draw of lots?” asked Gagan Sardha (name changed), a parent. Meanwhile, several other schools are asking parents to pay for uniform, books and additional fees despite a clear warning from the DoE.
“EWS/DG parents are being neglected as no action till date has been taken again multiple entries appeared in the draw of lots. The irony is that parents, who have been selected in EWS/DG lottery, are struggling to get admission for their kids in absence of any punitive action against erring schools by the DOE,” said Sumit Vohra, founder admissionsnursery.com.

It is so poor that DOE had not canceled multiple admissions, which has been selected by department due to submission of online form more than once. Even the case, for which whistle blown has been admitted in

So Saksi mam, please raise this issue in Media and at highest level Dept. Cause Manish Siaodia had not done so far.

See Mr Vohra has asked for scrutiny of First list overall today again (Earlier highlighted many times,so DOE might take action after 16 Apr.As we will come to know what have they done with Multiple/Duplicate and fraud entries )
इसपर नर्सरी दाखिला से जुड़े सुमित वोहरा का कहना है कि ऐसे कई मामले सामने आ रहे हैं, जहां ईडब्ल्यूएस सूची में नाम आने के बाद भी स्कूल बच्चों को दाखिला नहीं दे रहे हैं। शिक्षा निदेशालय की लापरवाही से स्कूल मनमानी कर रहे हैं। हमारी मांग है कि स्कूलों पर नकेल कसते हुए ईडब्ल्यूएस कोटे से हुए दाखिलों का निरीक्षण कराया जाए

Mam aap toe accha kar rahi h.....par aap dekho na sirf ews wale baccho ko admission nai mil raha....fir doe wale date badate rahte h jaise last year hua...ti.e badeta rahega toe 2nd list kab aygi fir kab admission hoga kab padai ahuru hogi..school mea baccha adjust hoga ya....padai ko cover kaise karega...1st list k admission ki date badane se accha h unke vajah pata lagai jaye aor schools ko warningdi jaye aor us school mea khud jakar cancern paerson admission karaye bacche ka....tabi sab admission hoge aor 2nd list k chance banege

All EWS/DG parents should go and meet personally Mr Sisodia.
As one parent told where he meets public.
