My son got admission in St. Georges School this year under the sibling and alumni category. Now I wish to pull out my older child as she has secured admission in a better school. But they are forcing me to withdraw my son as well. I feel helpless as Nursery admissions in most schools around this area are over.

To change your school for elder child as Minority School's have autonomy given by Hon' HC,to frame their own guidelines.

Also any specific reason to change the school.

Rest final call is yours.

Well, as I said the other school is a better one. While I understand that this is a minority school, don't think that this particular case can be seen as fair or legit. Anyways, appreciate your response. We will see what our options are and decide on next steps.

Also you have taken admission under "sibling and alumni category".

So if you take elder sibling out of the school, that might go against you.

Rest you can talk to DD Office of your area for more details.

Thanks Sakshi. Already spoke to the Deputy Director and got him involved. The matter has been closed to our satisfaction.
