Age is flexible in Gurgaon and some schools are taking  Min  3 yrs on 31 mar and others  are taking Min  3 yrs 6 months on 31 Mar of academic year for Nursery.

Has there been a max age rule also in place all these years? I see that some schools in Gurgaon are not allowing kids born before 1st OCt 2015 to apply for Nursery admissions. Is there any such government ruling?

No,it's  school specific.

No uniform age criteria being followed in Gurgaon.
