Admission Dates | Admission Criteria | Compare schools | Fee Details
Hi All,
I have WL under 15 in both DPS and ITL. Is there any chance of converting in any of these two on Feb 12 or shall i look into other schools. DPS is already done with document verifications, so filteration is already done.

Dear Sir,
Chances are bright for ITL, but again "chance" as you asked after.
Thanks!
Thanks for response Snehil. Yes thats why i said chances as waiting are not sure to be confirmed.
True Sir.
Just for information sake, there are certain calculation that goes in favour while terming as "bright" of which some of them are:
1. Vacated seat.
2. School opens the seats to waiting list for having the less promising applicants from MQ to complete a section.
3. In past recent years, even the waiting 28 and 17 respectively got it through :-)
Wish you the best!
You mean WL 28 in DPS and WL 17 in ITL? If yes, then Wl 28 in DPS seems bit tough as doc verification already done, 20 wards already screened out or didnt opted for DPS. Now those who are really keen are in the 1st list. So i dnt see tht list moving much now. But yes your 2nd points hold true and thts the only hope for people in WL. ITL i too believe chances are higher and i am not rushing yet fr admissions.
Please do correct me if my calculations are wrong.
Sir, I mentioned about the Waiting List of ITL in past years. Nothing about DPS :-)
Meaning those are the numbers from ITL admission session history only.
Sir, I think, Mr. Vivek mentioned the waiting state/position consideration in DPS stands post Document verification and screening process. So, his application still resides in Waiting queue.
Thanks!
Hi Snehil, now i understand your point, sorry my mind is too calculative now days.
Hitesh: the 1st list is published in which my WL is under 15. So, if from that list someone dont turn up for fees payment, his/her admission will be forfeited and will be passed on to WL list in that order.
It's absolutely fine, Sir. I know and understand the distress we all parents have especially when your application doesn't make to any school list such as mine that fate opted for apart from waiting in SRWS :-)
Yet, we always see at the ray of hope and opened prospects and stay positive. All this phase shall pass. Whatever we going to offer today as parents, whatever little we could going beyond our might, it will pay its rich dividends in following years. It is for future generation to which we are contributing (not for us), your ward and my ward are equal in our eyes for coming generation, just that we are owning 1:1 responsibility of our own kids.
Best Wishes!
