Dear Narinder Ji Thanks for writing , I would like to highlight that state like West Bengal allows kids to be admitted in class one only at the age of 6+ . There no school is allowed to have nursery if they have facilites of class 1 and further.
Regards
Asim
hi sir u r right its a hightime to unite together and raise the issue to stop the discrimination against the single boy child whose parents live happily together.
Dear Richa
Yes we can start an appeal campaign after notification on point system being issued by DOE which is expected by the end of this month and moreover we have to wait till 23 NOV for High Court decision on age criteria
Mr Lovely keeps changing his statements..we cannot do anything on his verbal statements ..the day he issues official guidelines ..we can start signature campaign !!
Mr.Lovely says no change in nursery guidelines. Has he slept for an year and just woke up as if nothing happened during that period. Atleast CM should have interfered in this matter. Govt. has not realised the importance of early childhood education and has totally ignored. Last year many parents has suffered a lot due to the flaws in point system followed and Mr.Vohra too has brought all the needed changes to be taken to the DOE and Mr.Krishnamoorthy then the Education Director has also accepted the mistakes and promised necessary changes will be taken. Atleast the present Director should have followed it. Without necessary changes again nursery admission guidelines would be a total failure. Mr.Lovely should take remedial measure immediately. As Sakshi Mam told Alumini points should be removed completely. Lot of changes has to be taken in other parameters too. If schools are given full autonomy again there won't be any second list at all this time too and it will pave way for schools to prosper as a business centre.
Dear Lathaaji,
I concur with you and Mr lovely is himself confused about the age criteria... The PIL in court is regarding having only one year of preprimary education before 1st grade and not increasing the nursery age from 3 yrs to 4 yrs !!
why education min is trying to mislead the parents
Sumit Ji this is the same story every year..... Ministers/ Government keep on adding confusion so that we can not actually take any concrete steps. The need is to correct this system which is not possible in the Month of November and December , its rather a process which should start now and force government to change atleast in the next academic year. So we need to stand together and force the officials for us to be heard.... Its high time that we realise our rights and role for the society we live in.
Absolutely lets start right now
Ridiculous….. When parents wants their kids to go to school at 4+….. When many surveys say 4+…… When many reports say the same 4+….. When even ministers of same Govt. says 4+….. When courts want this too, 4+…..Then who the hell want it to be 3+?
Is the intentions of ministers are clear by this stand? The chadawa(hari patti) from stackholders must have already reached them so that to keep it to 3+…… Are they really concerned about our children? NO….they don’t concern about our children or any of us….. All they want Money Money and more Money….. It is the game of money thats keeping them to raise the age limit to 4+, otherwise I see no hurdles in implementation….All the statements like "Delhi children will be at loss in future" are all absurd and made to confuse parents….. HELLO….MR LOVELY… Read between the lines. Court asked to raise the age to 4+ and keep nursery education for 1 year only so child will be in 1st class when he is 5+….. What’s so difficult to understand in this?
Only driving force that wants them to say 3+ is money. We are helpless, MOST CORRUPT GOVT OF ALL TIME doing everything they can to make our life difficult.
Nice Comments ManuJi - Lets take pledge to correct things this year onwards - I have already started working towards it - lets join hands and work as a team to be more effective
I would gladly be an active participant if you are doing anything against this autocracy.....Consider me IN ......
I urge from all parents to please join hands and do something about it....One alone may not be able to do much, but when MANY raise ONE voice then they can’t ignore us.... We had seen an example recently that shock the Govt. and compelled PM himself to act upon it.
So, what’s the plan? Let’s gather somewhere or meet or send letters or protest to show "Mr. Lovely and Associates" what we want!!!!
Thanks,
Manu Dhawan
