@SiD: You can either try your luck in KG (in case seats are available in the school) or you can try for schools where admissions start at 4+

THNX ANAND,

That mean we have less chance of getting the admission due to the age of 4+ as so many schools are only talking of 3 and 3+ and they are not even mentioning about the KG.
We even cant think of nursery as they have a age limit for that, tough call for us!

can anybody tell me that there should be separate affidavit for each school for first child or attested copy will be sufficient

Pls note that most of the schools are asking for it only during the time of admission. Since it isnt likely you would be getting your child admitted at multiple schools at the same time, hence you'd do fine with original affidavit.

REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION TO THE PRE SCHOOL CLASS

A child is eligible this year if he/she fulfils the following conditions:-

# The child should be 3 years of age as on March 31st, of the session year
◦PLEASE NOTE THAT:-
# No enquiries regarding admission will be entertained after the Final List of selected candidates is announced.
# Filling and submission of Form / Confirmation does not Guarantee Admission.
# The Forms / Prospectus will also be available at School Counter.

◦IMPORTANT:
# Incomplete / incorrect Forms / Applications will be rejected.
#Do not fill more than 1 (one) form else child's candidature will be cancelled.
# Parents who have submitted Manual Form need not Fill / Submit Online Form and vice versa.

FOR ADMISSION TO PRE-SCHOOL

I. Total seats available in class Pre-school=250
a)General Category=138
b)Seats for Economically Weaker Section=62
c)Management Quota=50

II. Eligibility Criteria: 3+ as on 31st March 2012

III. Date of Distribution of Registration forms:
A) At the School Reception (By Hand): 02/01/2012 to 04/01/2012 from 8:30AM to 12:00 Noon.
B) On-Line (www.dav-sreshtha.org): 02/01/2012 to 16/01/2012

IV. Filled-up forms shall be submitted upto: 16/01/2012 between 8:30AM to 12:00 Noon (on working days only.

V. Date of display of First List and Second Waiting List: 01/02/2012

VI. Display of Second List (If the seats are vacant): 29/02/2012

VII. Closure of Admission Process: 31/03/2012

LIST OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION OF FORM (Attested photocopy of no. 3 to 9)
1. Recent Passport size, coloured photograph of the Child, Father and Mother.
2. Proof to validate First Child (Affidavit on Rs.10/- Stamp Paper).
3. Birth Certificate of Child issued by MCD/NDMC
4. Proof of Residence - Attested Photocopy of Parent(s’) Ration Card, Voter’s Identity Card, Telephone Bill, Electricity Bill, Water Bill, Passport,Gas connection receipt, Driving License, Registered Rent Agreement prior to January 1,2012 (Any two).
5. Proof of Alumni of DAV Sreshtha Vihar i.e. Photocopy of class XII Certificate.
6.Proof to validate status of single parent.
7. Proof to validate child with special medical needs.
8.Proof to validate Sibling Application (copy of last Fee Bill or I-Card or Report Card).
9. Parents' Identity Card issued from the work place (if available)..

List of Supporting Documents to be Submitted by Economically Weaker Section
•Attested Photocopy of Birth Certificate of the child issued by MCD/NDMC.
•SDM Certificate for Income Proof.
•Any one of the Residence Proof of Parents for being the resident of Delhi for the last 5 years (Ration Card, Voter’s I.D. Card, Telephone Bill, Electricity Bill, Water Bill, Passport).

AGE CRITERIA: Child should be 3+ years as on 31st March 2012.

PROCEDURE:
• The Registration Form will be available at the school counter from January 2, 2012 to January 13, 2012 between 9 am to 12 noon.
• The Registration Form duly completed should be submitted at the school counter with in three days of receiving the form (Timings 9 am to 12 noon) along with the attested copy of the birth certificate of the child. The forms issued on January 13, 2012 should be submitted on January 16, 2012. Beyond January 16, 2012, registration forms will not be accepted.
• The intimation of short listed candidates (according to the point system mentioned below) will be given to the parents through email for verification of documents.

POINT SYSTEM:
# Area 20 points
# Sibling 20 points
# First Born 20 points
# Transferable job 20 points
# Alumni of the school 20 points
(Please note that sibling points will be granted only for real brother and sister studying in the same school)

PARENTS OF SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES MUST CARRY FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS
AT THE TIME OF VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS:
• Original Birth Certificate of the child
• Proof of residence
• Identity card and report card of brother / sister as proof of sibling.
• Affidavit of the first born child
• Proof of transferable job
• School certificate in case of alumni

THE LIST OF SELECTED CANDIDATES (ALONG WITH WAITING LIST) WILL BE
DISPLAYED ON FEBRUARY 1, 2012

Total number of seats for Preschool = 240
a) EWS 60 SEATS (25%)
b) MANAGEMENT 48 SEATS (20%)
c) STAFF 12 SEATS (5%)
d) GENERAL CATEGORY 120 SEATS

Admission under General Category will be done on the basis of Point System.

EWS:
Admission under EWS Category will be done on the basis of draw of lot, the date of which will be intimated at the time of submission of form.
Parents seeking admission under Economically Weaker Section Quota should contact Mr. Anil Sharma in the school office between January 2, 2012 to January 13, 2012 (Timings: 9 am to 11 am). Following documents are to be submitted for the admission process:
# Birth Certificate of the child.
# Income certificate issued by the revenue officer not below the rank of Tehsildar or BPL Ration
card (Yellow Coloured) or AAY Ration card (Pink Coloured).
# Ration card issued in the name of parents (mother / father) having the name of the child.
# Residence Proof of living in Delhi for minimum 5 years.

Hello Priya!
British school is accepting nursery applications for their session starting August 2012. Kindly find the nursery application form uploaded here for all details. You may complete this form along with all docs/registration fee etc as mentioned in it & submit it to british school once they re-open after winter break. You will be put on a wait list & informed accordingly.
