Hi good morning,

Iam new to delhi and for personal reasons i would be staying in delhi.so i would like to take admission in delhi schools for my 2 daughters who are 4+ and 3+.cay u guys help me with the procedure like do we have to go to school for applications or can we submit online.iam really confuse with the info given in the school websites

Springdales offers points for minority as well. What "authentic proof" is the school asking for?

"Minority Criteria (5 points) :
In keeping with its ethos and objectives, the schools embrace a diverse mix of children from different communities, religions, regions, and linguistic groups. Aspirants must provide authentic proofs that they qualify as minorities as defined by authorized bodies like the Minorities Commission."

Springdales school has started to issue forms. But they have sought copy of voter ID and Passport as residence proof.

We have been shifted to our new locality only 8 months back and these address are yet to be updated in Voter ID card and Passport as both are lengthy process. We are at total loss.
Kindly suggest.

General Instructions

Admission Procedure Sardar Patel Vidyalaya at Lodi Estate
Registration for admission to Pre-school will be done for children born on or before 31st March 2009.
Since there are limited seats available, all applicants cannot be accommodated. Parents of short listed candidates will be called to verify the details given in the admission form.
After verification of documents, only further short listed candidates in order of merit will be offered admission. In case, there are more applicants with the same points than seats, a draw of lots will be conducted.

Sardar Patel Vidyalaya is a Co-educational Institution and as a part of our philosophy shall endeavour to maintain Gender Parity.
Admission will be valid only if all the applicable fees and charges are paid in full by the prescribed date together with necessary documents, certificates and on completion of all admission formalities.
Offer of admission does not mean an automatic allocation / availability of seat in the school bus. Request for relocation of the bus stop or extension/diversion in the bus route will not be entertained.
At the time of verification you would be required to bring originals/attested photocopies for submission.
Fees and other Charges should be deposited at the Extension Counter of the Bank of Baroda in the Vidyalaya in cash or by Demand Draft payable to Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi.

Parents would be required to open a “FEE ACCOUNT” at the Extension Counter of the Bank in the premises of the Vidyalaya to facilitate transfer of Fees and Charges on a quarterly basis.

The Vidyalaya reserves the right to revise the FEES AND OTHER CHARGES.

Every year, we have more applicants than number of seats available. Therefore, if a candidate is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a reflection of his/her caliber.

In any matter regarding the admission, its process or the formalities, the decision of the Principal of the Vidyalaya will be final.

Instructions for filling the Registration Form
Children whose birth date falls between 1st October 2007 and 31st March 2009 are eligible for registration for the academic session 2012-2013.

You may apply online through the website OR submit the offline form which is available from the school campus.

It would be preferable that the online form be filled.
Important:

You are advised to fill in only one form - either Online OR Offline, to avoid cancellation of both the forms.

The online and offline registration forms will be available from 2nd January 2012 to 16th January 2012. The last date for receiving all forms is 1600 hours on 16th January 2012.

Guidelines for filling Online Forms
This is an electronic registration form for Pravesh Vatika. Please read the instructions carefully before filling in the form to avoid the rejection of your form.
Each form will be issued a unique Registration Number after the acceptance of the form. Kindly take a print out of the Receipt Page. This serves as a record to know the status of your application and for any further correspondence.
The registration form will refresh while it retrieves dynamic data from our database.
Do not press the ENTER KEY to move from one field to another. Use the TAB KEY or the mouse control for the same.
After completing the application form kindly click on the SUBMIT FORM button.
To avoid rejection, DO NOT fill more than one form for one applicant.
All fields are mandatory. Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the system.
Please enter your email id correctly as you will receive further communication on the address entered.
When user select values in some List box & radio buttons, the registration form will refresh for retrieving the data from the database. Till refreshing completed user should not enter or select any data in the registration form as it may lead to loss of entered /selected data.
Please note that when you have slow internet connection the registration form appearance, refreshing of the form and submission of completed forms may take some time, please be patient.
The areas/localities/colonies within range for criteria of selection are built in to the system. If you do not find your locality, you may choose the 'Others' category. You will then be able to enter details and the distance from the school campus.

Final admission is subject to the verification of the following documents [in original]:
Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation
Proof of residential address [Passport/ Lease Deed/ Electricity Bill/ MTNL Telephone Bill/ Electoral Card]
Note: School will also verify the residential address through home visits.
In case of sibling applicants: the identity card/admission no of sibling studying in The Shri Ram School whether at the Junior School i.e. Vasant Vihar, the Senior School i.e. DLF Phase III or at The Shri Ram School, Aravali
In case of single parents: Divorce Decree, death certificate of spouse, etc
In case of adopted: Adoption Deed.

Registration Form for admission under Freeship
Parents are requested to fill in the Common Admission Form (as prescribed by the Directorate of Education) available at the school campus free of cost

Documents required for admission on free seats :

For the admission of child belonging to weaker sections:
a. Income certificate issued by a revenue officer not below the rank of Tehsildar
b. BPL ration card (yellow coloured)
c. AAY Ration Card (pink coloured)

For the admission of child belonging to disadvantaged group:
a. A certificate issued by a revenue officer nor below the rank of Tehsildar or any other competent authority
b. Caste Certificate by any competent authority
c. Medical Certificate from government hospital or a report of diagnosis from a recognised hospital. (In case of Special Need or/ disability)

Proof of residence:
a. Ration card issued to the parents (mother/father having the name of the child).
b. Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parents.
c. Voter I card of any of the parents.
d. Electricity bill/MTNL bill/Water Bill.
e. Unique Identity card in the name of Father/Mother/Child issued by the Government of India.
f. Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.

Note: The documents will be verified at the time the admission fee is deposited.
