Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

I submitted the completed form in GD Goenka Vasant Kunj but did not receive any receipt or acknowledgement from the school. School refuse to give any receipt.

Many forms do not have counter foil hence you should always note the "registration"/"form" number before submitting form.

Well guess what, a lot of the forms do not even mention any number of any kind :)

If that is the case then schools allot number either when issuing it or when you submit it. Make a note of that.

Really? St. Michael has allowed to download the form online and drop it in a drop box with a draft. In this case there is no proof at all.

Schools are asking for parents educational certificates in original while admission verification. what if we don't carry them stating that its against DOE guidelines.
will we be refused admission.

SAME CASE HAPPENED WITH ME TODAY MORNING AT THE LOVELY PUBLIC SCHOOL (EAST DELHI). THE LADY ACCEPTING THE FORMS REJECTED MY FORM BECAUSE I HAD NOT ENCLOSED ALONG, THE QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATES OF PARENTS. ALSO IT WAS NOT MENTIONED ON THE FORM EITHER. SO I ASKED HER TO KINDLY SAY THE SAME AGAIN SO THAT I COULD RECORD THIS IN MY CELL PHONE CAMERA. THEN SHE GOT APPREHENSIVE & CALLED HER SENIOR TEACHER WITH WHOM I HAD AN ARGUMENT. SHE SAID THAT IF I AM NOT QUALIFIED THEN NOT TO WORRY. TO THIS I REPLIED THAT MADAM FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATION I AM A GRADUATE IN COMMERCE FROM THE DELHI UNIVERSITY. THEN AT LAST SHE ACCEPTED MY FORM.

Dear Latha

Can you please tell me how is CJM (COnvent of Jesus & Mary). I have heard it is one of the best schools for girls in Delhi. But surprisingly there is hardly any discussion on it in this forum. Do not many parents apply for it?

vasant valley has started verification process before 16th of January. This is against the DOE guidelines. Callas and emails sent to school remain unanswered. Mr vohra can you raise the issue that school should give an opportunity to parents to get documents verified if they missed the first meeting due to last minute notice and more so the process of admission should begin after 16th when all applications have been submitted. Request you to raise the same

Has anyone been to the Vasnat Valley verification meeet. Want to know what all is being done there.

Yes, went there yesterday.
They verify all the documents as per the criteria (address proof, first child affidavit, birth certificate etc). Then the parents have to sign the sheet where they have ticked against all the docs verified. takes 2-3 mins.
